I'll have to try this dynamic setting.

I finally got a couple games in last night and I am terrible. I must have answered a question wrong because the game defaulted to Veteran. Trying to hit that flashing blip for pitching. No way in hell.

Fielding will take a bit to get use to, but so far I'm enjoying the game. The presentation alone is enough to keep me playing.

Pulse pitching drove me up the wall, went to classic. And last night I switched to auto fielding. Game is about perfect now. Haven't won a game yet though, but then I again played with weaker teams against stronger teams. At least now I feel like I have chance to win, where as on the 1st day I was getting blown out.

My only slight concern now is way too many fly balls. Might have to turn fielding speed down a tad because outfielders seem to be able to run and catch damn near everything that is hit with ease, with time to spare.

Not sure how to feel about the idea of a sequel to The Last of Us.

I am all for it. I understand the concern, but I am fine with a sequel.

That's what I do. I use Classic pitching, Timing hitting and auto fielding and baserunning and this game is in heaven for me.

I like Classic pitching if for no other reason than it saves my eyes from looking at a meter/pulse 100 times a game.

Yep. I have Pulse Pitching, Auto fielding(I make the throws though) and timed hitting.

I made just a small tweak to my sldiers and so far it's been great(Need to delete the ones I uploaded and re-upload these)
I'm seeing gappers, slow choppers, shots down the line etc..
As far a fielding speed I moved it down also I and rasied reaction up to 7 I think (To mainly help the infielders)
Batting I lowered the Solid contact?? or whatever it's called to either 1 or 0 can't remember off hand as well as some small adjustments to contact/power.

Defensively the players on the field still make the plays they should while many of the "they shouldn't have been able to get there" moments are less now.

Game is a blast. Currently 1-4 and I plan on playing every game.

That's what I do. I use Classic pitching, Timing hitting and auto fielding and baserunning and this game is in heaven for me.

I do the same, except for auto baserunning and I make all my throws, although I've thought about switching to auto baserunning and letting the AI make the throws for me.

Me too, it was such a brilliant game I really don't want a sequel. I think that it should be a single entry series that stands on it's own as a masterpiece of video games. Not saying I wouldn't buy a sequel though. But we all know we're gonna end up with the Last of Us 4 eventually.

Analog hitting, analog pitching, regular fielding and base running here. As it has been for me since whatever year analog controls were introduced.

I field so infrequently I keep throwing to third instead of first as a pitcher.

After using Auto Fielding and Base-Running for the past couple of years I'm back to manually doing it since you can't do those in an Online Franchise. To say that it has been a disaster is putting it lightly.

Man, I'm always surprised how many people use auto-fielding. That's my favorite aspect of baseball. But, that's another reason to love The Show.. it's great to have options.

For me it's not wanting to go full on Manage only mode as I want to actually play some.
So auto field and timed hitting sort of give me that middle of the road game where I can play but ratings are also more on the table than if I did everything..

And yes thank God gives us gamers options to play however we want.

dynamic difficulty, full analog hitting, button accuracy, pulse pitching, Oh and Quick Counts too. Game is playing great for me.

Or if you're like me, after a base hit I always inadvertently throw the ball to the home plate by pressing X because I'm trying to skip the cutscenes.
