My friend that did it said that the PS4 controller is very easy to take apart. If you're somewhat experienced with taking apart controllers, I'd say yes.

If you look up 'Xbox One thumb sticks' on eBay, you'll find a ton of them for $2-$3 a pop. Just make sure they're brand new, it should say in the title.

My pack of GripIt just came in today. The tearing started on one of mine so instead of spending the money on postage sending them to Sony I figured I'd spend it on pads instead. They've got much more grip now too so it's a win win.

I really hate the xbox one sticks. If I could put my ps4 sticks on my xbox one controllers I would.

I am the other way around, my thumbs constantly feel like they are going to slip off the PS4 sticks.

My only complaint about the geltabz is that they make hitting L3 while moving (to run) a little tricky. I really like the geltabz though, I might do the Xbone sticks with the geltabz to solve the issue.
