So they don't have any camera specific games?? After being out for a year I'd guess they'll never have any.

So basically it's a paper weight.

Does it at least plug in the back of the ps4?? If so, does the cable it comes with long enough?

Yes it plugs to the back and yes mine seemed long enough for my set up.

I'm pretty disappointed none of the retailers/Sony didn't have any PS Plus deals.

Probably hundreds of thousands of annual subscriptions up the next few months, makes sense to maximize ROI there from their standpoint.

I purchased the ps4 camera for basically half price here in canada on a cyber Monday deal.

Do I need the ps4 camera?

Other than putting my face in NBA 2k15 does it do anything else??

Anything good for kids?? (For example, games where their on the screen and they can break bubbles or karate chop fruit etc, you know what games I'm talking about?)

Or should I just return it?

There are some pretty cool apps available for it in the playstation store. There is this robot ninjas game that is pretty cool and some other games that your kids may enjoy. I did not think there was much other use for the camera outside of scanning my face in NBA 2K15, but have been impressed with some of the other apps available although there are not many. I am more excited though with how the tech will be used in future games.

I love the idea of this dock if it weren't consuming the only 2 USB ports the PS4 has (that's a problem when you have a Disney Infinity portal and/or charging cable(s), and it didn't rest on the hottest part of the console.

Jason (the author of the above link) confirmed heat isn't an issue... leaving me with the USB complaint. Would have rather had the option to plug it in.

On the console itself, there's a free game section but only lists the games for that console. You can't "purchase" a PS3 game on your ps4 console when it becomes free. It's best to log into the playstation store website to download them all in one go.

Shadow of Mordor, Alien: Isolation, and Evil Within were delivered at the office by UPS today. And Injustice free on PSN. Yep. Should keep me busy for a while.
