I was already Premium because I have to be to use the Spotify app on my Onkyo AVR. So I wouldn't be surprised if you had to be on the PS4 as well.

The spotify app? yep sure did....I have been using spotify to play music when I play the Show as well as GTA 5.

I have tried all the suggestions,as well as the last one Burns mentioned about connecting through the song playing and hitting the speaker icon to connect,but for some reason it always says that the connect feature is for premium memberships...

I guess in the long run though it's no big deal,as I am able to switch songs through the PS4 as well as shuffle...so no biggie I guess...lol

I'm just not a huge Spotify fan, I've been using Pandora for so many years, I just can't quite get used to it.

Does anyone know how I can combine multiple radio stations without playlist? ex. On Pandora, the option was quickmix, it just combined ALL of the artist's stations that I liked into a mix that I could listen to all day. With Spotify, is my only option to listen to one artist's station at a time? Any help would be much appreciated from you Spotify vets.

Good question, I'd like to know if it's possible to shuffle your playlists like you can with Pandora.

I just did some googling, made a discovery that has me in love with Spotify (was rather flat on it before).

Make a playlist, throw in it a song, or songs, from the various artists you like (at least one song per artist, not sure how it works in terms of how it associates songs, if it's based on artist or some metric of the song itself, but if they are a group with a varied sound you might add more songs).

Go to the playlist from that first step, right click (or hit the little three dot options menu on the right of the playlist on android) and hit "start playlist radio" and it will play songs related to those in the playlist.

Enjoy.

If you aren't premium, cheat the system, switching to a new radio station isn't considered skipping songs, so duplicate that playlist under different names, start each as radio station. They will now show in your recent stations, if you hit a song you want to skip, just switch stations.

I knew you could do that from the song, but didn't realize you could do it for a playlist, pretty cool. Over time you start to figure out which artists spawn great radio stations. I don't listen to a lot of Soundgarden but they result in some great 90s rock/alternative stations when you start a radio station from them.

I have a Z3 tablet Compact and have used remote play on it. I like using it for remote play in my house since I am able to pair my DS4 to it. I tried playing MLB 15 the show on my Z3 tablet and there still was some lag present which threw my timing off a bit but it was still playable. Madden 15 played great as well. I believe games that do not rely heavily on timing will be ok to play on the Z3 via remote play. But I think it is dependent upon your router. My router is really good (Linksys wrt1900ac ) and the games ive played on my tablet played great. I prefer my tablet over my vita for remote play for the mere fact that I can use my DS4 on it as well as the screen size.

I have the Z3v for Verizon. It's an awesome phone, but I haven't gotten around to trying remote play yet. However it does play very nicely with everything Sony
