Is there anyway to stop that discover message from always appearing when you first turn on the PS4? Get's annoying after awhile. Thanks.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I thought maybe by clicking into it that would stop it but it doesn't. I've had times where it doesn't appear but that's rare. If I figure it out I'll let ya all know unless someone else figures it first."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

My three do not, for the record. I keep it in rest mode all the time. I'm not going to even begin to speculate weird things like altitude and all that stuff, but obviously there is some condition that's causing it for you, so maybe it's time to narrow down what that is.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Checked out VidZone the other day. Pretty cool. Similar to a Spotify playlist but with videos (obviously). More content on there than I was anticipating, especially the 80's and 90's videos.Currently Playing:

I think he means the battery dies.

Yeah, that's the one (guess it's a kiwi term?).
I did a bit of googling and it seems like a few others have encountered this issue as well. Looks like I may have some faulty controllers.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
PlayStation 4 lead in console and software sales for May. Xbox One reportedly sold 139k consoles in May and still lost. Would love to know how many consoles Sony sold in May. With PS4 outselling Xbox One four out of five months this year (and after June, five out of six), does anyone still believe that Sony is going to drop the PS4 to $350 this coming Monday? I still don't see them dropping the price until later this year if that. In fact, my prediction still remains the same - $300 at E3 2016.

By end of the year MS and Sony will have 1tb consoles for $400 each with the exception that MS will more then likely announce a 350 price drop on the 1tb early next year or towards E3 in 2016 once the 500gb are done with
Make no mistake
The xbox one will sell tons of consoles last quarter of the year with their excellent releases and new OS along with Direct X12
That will help push consoles. Sony will counter with 400 1tb consoleComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The new 1TB PS4 model will release later this year which is Sony answer to MS end of year bang. So the PS4 1TB will be 400 and their 500gb will drop to 350. No chance they will make the 1TB 450.

Xbox One SHOULD outsell PS4 in November and December when you look at each consoles exclusives and whatnot but unless Microsoft blows away Sony, I still don't see a price drop until E3 2016. All Sony has to do is absorb the blow from November and December and they'll be fine because Uncharted 4 in March and SFV in April 2016 at the very least will even it all out so if you're Sony, you're not worried whatsoever. Besides, any price drop announcement at this year's E3 would be like a panic move ala Sega back in 1995. That killed Sega. Don't see Sony doing the same thing and would be very surprised if they did.
Back to the 1TB console, if I was Sony, I wouldn't even announce it until their October show because once again, the Batman bundles. I would focus on that because it will sell and has already since a lot of places are sold out via pre-orders. Also, they would be smarter to wait closer to Morpheus launches before announcing a price drop. it would be a better move. And for Morpheus, it's rumored early 2016. Personally, im predicting September 2016. It can be after next year's E3 and Gamescom plus they need to have at least a few good games at launch for it. Can't be like Wii U, Xbox One and PS4's weak launches. Can't just be some crappy tech demos.
Just have to wait and see what happens.Comment
