PlayStation 4 Discussion
Bloodborne is totally my GOTY. There was a few times I contemplated quitting but something about the game that just keeps pulling you back in. I have about 80 hrs in. I did screw up at the end by not eating the umbilical cords the third time before fighting the boss. I'll just have to reload my save from the cloud and re level up a bit to fight him again.
Dark Souls 3 is looking like its being Bloodbornized a bit from the videos so I can't wait for that next year.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I want a challenge in my games, but I can't imagine a scenario where a game makes me consider quitting out of frustration and I still consider it a GOTY.
Unless you asked me years ago when I played NCAA almost religiously on LeagueDaddy. I took some losses way too personally against randoms online.. the days of the PS2 Network Adapter were some shady, dark days, but some of the most fun days I can remember gaming online.Last edited by AUChase; 08-12-2015, 09:35 AM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I still need to pick up Bloodborne, but somehow I need to wrest myself away from the clutches of Geralt of Riveria and The Witcher 3.
I started my second playthrough bumping it up to Death March from Blood and Broken Bones. Just being dropped into a wide-open map with everything to explore is refreshing. There's a fair bit more amount of strategy at this difficulty. Still, the going back through the stories, particularly those early quests that had gotten foggy by the end of the game, is great. The world if full of fascinating people and creatures. And cleavage. Lots and lots of cleavage.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I played Bloodborne for about 3 hours and hated every second of it. I think I am one of the rare ones.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm trying to hold out for New Game. I want a new play through, but I would hate to lose my skills. I haven't played anything except a little Rocket League and a few games of Madden since I finished The Witcher 3.
I just know everything else will be a let down right now.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I played the tutorial of Bloodborne and still have the game. It's next after Batman Arkham Knight but I don't think it will be played until after I play Mad Max and Until Dawn with MGSV being 50/50.
The Witcher 3 is my game of the year and looking at the rest of the games that im buying and going to play for 2015, I don't see any game matching it let alone surpassing it. And that includes my backlog which includes Bloodborne. Out of the 13 games I have completed for PS4, only 2 have hit my 9 or higher rating. The Witcher 3 at 9.5/10 and Far Cry 4 at 9/10.
I know Bloodborne is excellent and when I eventually do play it, im expecting it to hit that 9/10 rating. Only other game that im expecting that from for the rest of 2015 is Mad Max.
Last generation, I overrated too many games and have become more strict in regards to giving it a rating. Granted, it's my own personal rating but still, some games I look back on and im like, how the hell did I give that a 9/10??? LOL.
I'm being a lot more strict and impartial this generation.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I just didn't enjoy any of it. I can't really put my finger on it. It wasn't that it wasn't hard (even though it was) because I like a challenge. I just...didn't have fun playing it, I guess.
I still have it and maybe I'll give it a second chance, but I need to conquer Arkham Knight and Witcher 3 first.Comment
