They should all be $10 or less. $15 is just a bit too high. Also some PS2 games people have already repurchased on PS3, asking gamers to purchase them for a 3rd time on PS4 is bad.

Sony is in a full cash grab. Not really liking this. If they would have supported the Vita maybe thing would be better.Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not sure how I feel about these. Better graphics (and assumed screenshot/video functions) and trophies are nice additions. $15 feels a little too much, but not horrible pricing.
My main concerns are with the precedent this sets going forward of having to repurchase on every console, and with the frequency and variety of these games being added to the store. Feels like something that's just going to trickle out and then dry up.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
To be perfectly honest, I don't think that Sony should have done or do any emulation or backwards compatibility of any kind. Microsoft did what they did for goodwill but for Sony, if anything, doing this backfires more than not. Old school consoles didn't have backwards compatibility and no one complained back then because the next generation of gaming was always superior where as now, it's mainly just better visuals and bigger worlds which is why fans clamor for emulation and/or backwards compatibility.
I personally don't care about any of this on any console. I want to play what's out now and what's coming out and what developers are currently working on. Not what's already been done several times several different ways.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I completely understand people not being interested in playing past-gen games on their current gen console, but I don't understand how it is a bad thing or could possibly backfire. Isn't more games, more choices, more appeal always better?Last edited by The JareBear; 12-04-2015, 11:22 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Some of the older consoles had BC. I believe PS2 could play PS1 games and PS3 could play PS2 games.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'll def need a larger HDD now to buy all the remasters.
If they did a BF2 Holy Crap it would be amazing nostalgia overload. That game with updated 1080 graphics would be a top shooter on the PS4 for sure!

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, but how will I be able to import my GTA: SA save file from my PS2 memory card? How will I be able to play MLB Power Pros? These are the small things I wish we could see happen.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
To me if I really wanted and needed to keep playing older games I'd simply still have the console.
While BC is ok it really isn't something that is a selling point for me. I grew up with zero BC consoles. Then the PS2 came along etc..
Not a deal breaker at all for me as while the nostalgia is cool.. I simply can't handle the old graphics etc.. much at all.
When/If I do, I have a PS2, 360 and gamecube still.
A remastered upgraded version I'd take over simple BC.Joshua:
