Sony setting some expectations, conceding that the Rift may do VR better than PSVR.

Sony admits PSVR isn't as 'high-end' as Oculus, says they are for different markets

“If you just talk about the high-end quality, yes, I would admit that Oculus may have better VR,” Sony Computer Entertainment vice president Masayasu Ito told Polygon. “However, it requires a very expensive and very fast PC. The biggest advantage for Sony is our headset works with PS4. It’s more for everyday use, so it has to be easy to use and it has to be affordable.

“This is not for the person who uses a high-end PC. It’s for the mass market.”

In comparison to the Oculus Rift's $600 price tag, the rumored cost of the PSVR is $299 for the headset alone and $428 for the headset, as well as all the additional gear.

Not surprising since it was earlier confirmed by the tech geeks.

It's all about the pricing by Sony. If they price it at $399 - $428., it should do well.

A quick look at the VR list shows that the advantages from the competition is really not that much greater.
LOL, well with the exception of spruced up pc....... the Intel Core i5‑4590 3.3/AMD Radeon R9 290 Tri‑X OC 4GB GDDR.. or greater alone makes it a very expensive hobby

I'm seriously thinking about switching to PS Vue but I don't think they have the channel the Indians play on. On my local list it shows 3 Fox Sports Ohio channels and the Indians play on Sportstime Ohio but its affiliated with Fox Sports Ohio. So I don't know if maybe one of those will show the Indians games. Not sure how I can find out.

They've managed to put together a pretty nice package of the channels for the price.

Good luck SlingTV.

The pricing makes PlayStation Vue very attractive.

There's a DVR and it looks like on demand for the big 3 networks.

I currently have Sling TV but this looks like a great deal. $15 more per month, but a much bigger selection of channels, and the ability to watch on multiple devices at the same time is great.

Looks like I'll be making the switch this week.

Signed up. 35 bucks a month is a great deal and now I can watch the Brewers lose 95 games.

Just so you know, Big Cable, this is a price I will pay. Take note.
