Even $45/mo is gold compared to cable and dish services.

Only drawback I see is no CBS or Hallmark (I need my Golden Girls reruns), but CBS only exists to me during football season.

I managed to negotiate a good deal with AT&T for U-Verse, but that deal expires at the end of April. If AT&T won't re-up that for me, I'll definitely look into Vue.

It's all through your PS4, right? How does the DVR work?

Users can access PlayStation Vue through PS4, PS3, Amazon Fire TV, and Fire TV Stick, as well as iPad and iPhone through the PlayStation Vue mobile app. Google Chromecast is also supported via compatible iOS devices.
Without live local channels what are the options for us NFL and NBA fans who watch games? Would we have to supplement this with NFL Ticket and NBA League Pass?

Digital antenna. Although reception depends on your location.

The lineup, DVR capabilities, and price point all look very attractive but until they offer a full lineup of Local Channels and the major sports league networks (NBA TV, MLB Network, NFL, etc.), I won't ever consider ditching cable for this. Plus, having to pay for internet separately and the $49 package would be fairly close to my current cable bill. I'll gladly pay the few extra bucks to have the convenience of having all the programming and services through one portal.

Except you'll need an additional dvr for that.

Only if you want to DVR OTA. Otherwise it'd go right into another source on your TV is all.

Biggest limitation on this so far in our house is it's not on Xbox One, and yeah, probably never will be. Won't rule out putting an Amazon Fire Stick on the HDMI input though for Kodi and Vue access eventually. No DVR on the Xbox One yet but it does offer a 30 minute live buffer, FYI.

With Vue fully rolled out, I don't think we'll ever even consider the free trial of SlingTV.

Yeah I am pretty much in the same boat. I know a lot of people have ditched cable but I wouldn't save more than a few bucks a month and I would have the hassle of dealing with multiple accounts. Not worth it.

It works through Amazon Fire TV/Fire Stick, on an Ipad, and through Google Chromecast, along with PS3/PS4.

From what I understand the DVR is cloud storage up to 28 days.

This sounds like a perfect fit for us. We're moving in 2 weeks and won't be taking DirecTV with us. Combine this with an over-the-air antenna for CBS, Netflix and WWE Network and we'll be good to go.

PSVR event starts now, with hands on until 6pm. Lots of news and impressions for the rest of today.

No stream, so there's periscope, lol.

                              edit: $399. Releasing in October.

                                PSVR $399 in October.

Can't say I'll consider it at that price, too much for a toy.
