Instead of a third week of sale, they are offering a few games that "everyone already has" on a "PSN lame sale".



It seems like they will have another "big" sale starting 7/19, so we'll need to wait to see if the upcoming sale will be good or just another bunch of games that no one cares, with a few good games thrown in the middle...

Just as expected. And falls in line (so far) to after the PSVR launch to fully unveil PS4K/Neo at Paris Games Week (PGW), just as industry insider shinobi602 has said over 2 months ago.

PGW is in late October, right?

Is there officially no way they would unveil it at TGS?

I guess I was initially confused because I thought the Neo was originally touted as something to make PSVR "worth it," but apparently PSVR operates just fine on regular PS4 so I can see it coming out after the PSVR launch

PSVR was designed around the PS4. All PSVR games work with the PS4 in mind. Do not listen to the FUD out there. It has been shot down by developers and the like.

Neo enhancing the PSVR games is no different than it enhancing non-VR games.

As for PGW, yes, it is October 27th. It gives them time to launch the PSVR, and then move on to Neo.

I personally don't see them saving something like this for TGS, since Japan is not a console giant like it once was. They do far more in Europe/Western gaming with the console, than Japan. Especially an enthusiast console machine.

Hence why the PS4 was launched in the West before Japan. A first in the company's history, and met with great success.

Now Summer Lessons VR, will probably be huge in Japan, and chart #1 for quite some time, lol.

I mean, they can announce it at TGS, but I would be shocked if they did, is all.

Are people still digging PS Vue? My wife usually handles the bills but I happened to log in to our Uverse account today and wasn't happy about how much we're spending on that. Also, any recommendations for who to contact to find out about if/when local channels will get added in my area? That's the only thing holding me back from switching everything over right now.

Are people still digging PS Vue? My wife usually handles the bills but I happened to log in to our Uverse account today and wasn't happy about how much we're spending on that. Also, any recommendations for who to contact to find out about if/when local channels will get added in my area? That's the only thing holding me back from switching everything over right now.

I absolutely love Vue. Had to install a HD antenna for our locals, not sure if PS Vue will ever be able to offer locals.

Large markets have local channels now... Hopefully coming to mid and small markets as well.

Atlanta only has fox which is weird. At first I Vue was amazing, but having used it for months now the on demand and dvr is average at best.

There's no rhyme or reason to shows showing up in demand . Sometimes it's the day after episode airs other times it's a week or two. Also we've had several times where HGTV DVD shows skip ahead 5 seconds for no reason .

Those two things I feel like really take away from otherwise good service

A leaked document on the PlayStation 4 Neo is now available on the Web. Let’s take a look at its content.

Of course, we don’t have any way to know for sure if this document is legitimate. However, it certainly looks like it, though it seems to be about three months old. We’ll update on this rumor in case we get more proof of its legitimacy or otherwise.

My money would be on the final specs being higher in the end than these specs (same specs as always been rumored).

Either way, it will be fine with me. If these specs are final it will definitely pale in comparison to the Scorpio but will still be more than enough for 1080p/60fps/Ultra or Ultra/high hybrid settings. It might get crapped on in 4k comparisons to the Scorpio but that won't apply to me for a long time.

If these specs are final hopefully Sony can level the playing field a bit by selling it much cheaper than the Scorpio. I would think it could go for significantly less
