Not to get too far off topic with the PS4 Pro stuff, but I had my first frustration with Vue yesterday. Added Redzone, was watching NFLN pregame until noon kickoff, went to switch and was getting a error saying no channels on the guide or not subscription service selected. Last all of 10 minutes, rest of the day (well until I switched over to Cowboys game at 3:25) the service ran great. I was really surprised.


Actually, I had an issue on Saturday during Baylor game, signal kept dropping telling me to reboot if it keeps happening, not sure what that was about.

I've had a few issues with Vue lately, as well. I actually had to uninstall and reinstall it last week, and I've been getting a lot of "service not available" issues. I thought it was due to my wi-fi signal, but maybe it's not.

I've had that issue on the PS3. Haven't noticed it recently though. We mainly use Roku devices now though. Our current problem is a lack of guide on Roku

This was in the IGN article about the 4.0 update tomorrow "Plus, if you are getting a PlayStation 4 Pro, players can transfer their data with a wired LAN connection.". I plan on getting a PS4 Pro so am wondering how you can transfer your data? I know it's still a few months out but was just wondering how I can do it.

Not off topic at all. Vue is probably more important to the PS4 thread than Pro is, lol.

That sucks to hear though. I was looking forward to getting back on the Vue service once I get my PS4 on Thursday. Hope these issues were just flukes

Yeah, for me, this was this past weekend was my first issue(s), hopefully it doesn't continue. I really just want Vue through football season, after that, I will see.

Really surprised they didn't just cancel the orders, this is not going to end well for them man. If Amazon opens up that 20% discount to go all the way like Best Buy instead of just on new games in the first 2 weeks that would be huge. Do it right now and take all the angry gamers.

It is rather shocking how primitive and basic Vue is on Roku compared to the Fire TV app. I think the biggest gripe I have with the Roku version is fast forwarding through a recorded show. There's no way to see what you're fast forwarding through so I constantly find myself cycling through FF, Play, and RW to find the spot...very frustrating. Unfortunately, it sounds like it's a Roku limitation/design.

I don't think I've experienced as many issues as others have because I find myself using the specific channel apps (ESPN, NBC Sports Net, Fox Sports Go, etc.) on the devices themselves more than in Vue. Since I don't have locals on Vue, I find myself using Vue to watch recorded shows or On Demand stuff more than actual live TV.

Best Buy is protected on incorrect listings so they will not have to honor it.

A few years back they incorrectly listed 1200 hdtvs for 100 dollars and people ordered 15 tvs at once and went to the store to pick them up. They got a notice of cancellation and a couple of customers sued but got nowhere because BB is protected like many retail companies

That's true, but you can't alter a package after someone has purchased it. If they had just cancelled all the pre-orders and let everyone know, I don't think it would have been a big deal. However, they went into the system after two days of pre-orders and changed the bundle's description and title. They also kept the money and didn't cancel anything after changing it. That's not good. This could get interesting.
