This was in the IGN article about the 4.0 update tomorrow "Plus, if you are getting a PlayStation 4 Pro, players can transfer their data with a wired LAN connection.". I plan on getting a PS4 Pro so am wondering how you can transfer your data? I know it's still a few months out but was just wondering how I can do it.

I'm in the beta and it looks like you just plug an Ethernet cable from one ps4 into another and just hit transfer found in the settings

Also with the system update coming out tomorrow it will be interesting to see what you guys say about HDR being added that have a 4k HDR tv and how much it makes things look better. I would love to have a 4k HDR tv as I have had the same 720p 37 inch tv that upscales to 1080p since 2007 but I am still trying to get out on my own and any thing above like 40 would most likely be bad for your eyes with the size of my room. Also I want to get a 4k tv that is like 55-60 inch for only like $1000. The only 4k TV's I see at that size and price are kind of middle quality TV'S and I want like a top 4k TV. Most top 4k HDR TV's that are 55-60 inch still cost like 2000-3000.

I'll just say that swapping out a PS4 hard drive is very easy. Just read up on the instructions and you won't have an issue. Using an old hard drive from an older PC is MUCH faster than using a USB stick. Huge difference and highly recommended when backing up the system.

I do have a old computer that doesn't work but how would I use its hard drive to back up stuff?

My base PS4 will be gone a few days or week before I pick up the PRO. I pretty much already know the differences that im getting. After all, Sony increased the GPU (graphics processing unit) while pretty much everything else stays the same so it's pretty obvious what the extra GPU power is going to be used for. Games that look great will simply look greater.

My hope is that developers/publishers follow Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics in regards to Rise of the Tomb Raider...three different options that can be changed in game on the fly??? Yes please.

And on a side note, im actually hoping other companies follow Square Enix...that has to be a first since the great days of SNES and SE being known as Squaresoft. LOL.

That's right, uncapped between 45 and 60. Just cut down on AA or turn down environment quality or something, let me rock at 60. It really depends on how "uncapped" it is, sometimes that means it hovers at 60 and drops to 40 and sometimes it means it can hover lower and spike in less intensive areas. I just want 60 man....

Side note Daniel, I don't know if you've worked in retail but you've got it all wrong. This kind of thing happens all the time and companies honor it often, depending on the scale of their losses. My first job was at HD and you'd be surprised the kind of nonsense they let customers get away with. People using items and returning them full price, honoring mistakes, people just complaining enough about high prices, they will bend to the customer.

That is so true about retail. I work in a grocery store and some times customers complain about something so stupid and yet still get there way because they are a customer lol.

I'm thinking when they say that the update will be out tomorrow I'm thinking overnight tonight as if they go by Japan time then it will be overnight and since they usually deploy overnight I believe it in morning Cuz if they waited till tomorrow after everyone went to bed it would actually be Wednesday when people got it..

Last time there was an update it was on a late Monday night very early Tuesday morning

I'll find out in morning b4 I head off to work I'm super excited 4.0!

Of course what happened at Best Buy was a mistake, I was asking if, in general, isn't the practice of intentionally doing what BB did by mistake known as that.

Comparison video of Uncharted 4 on PS4 and PS4 Pro.

I seriously can't tell the difference other than the Pro is a little sharper. For the cost of a HDR 4K TV, it doesn't seem worth it to me.

This is a very bad way to make a comparison. You can't see HDR on YouTube. These type of comparisons are better in person. I'll tell you this, from my experience HDR is the real deal and makes everything look a lot better.

Seems like the Pro, to get full value out of it, needs to be played on a TV with 4K and HDR. My issue with that is some of the crazy crazy input lag times with HDR enabled. I play on a monitor with 11ms input lag. The best input lag according to the post a couple of pages back is in the 20's but most are in the 60's. Forget about playing any shooters online with those numbers.

But even playing The Show with that much input lag....you'll be dropping pitch speed to zero just to be able to hit. Still leaning towards getting the Pro but maybe the time isn't quite right until display technology catches up to what the Pro is trying to accomplish.

This isn't true at all. I play MLB the show all the time with my new tv at 20ms and I hit very easily and have zero issues with hitting or pitching. Same thing with shooters no problem at all. I never feel behind. 60ms is bad, but 20ms is great. I have years playing on different TVs and this is the lowest I've ever had as far as TVs. I can tell especially with Mlb the show if the input lag is good or bad. Trust me when I tell you that 20ms is great.

Looks like there may have been an issue with Bethesda regarding mods with Farming Simulator 17 confirming mods will be available with their launch for the PS4.

I have no anger or anything resembling anger at all toward BB. I don't pre-order things online very often and this was my first time being involved with a deal like this. I was fascinated about the process and interested to see what the standards were, what to expect. It was clearly a mistake, the deal was too good to be true. For a split second I had convinced myself that maybe I had just happened on the deal of the century, I am pretty naive with a lot of things.

I have happily re-ordered the bundle through BB and look forward to picking it up from my local BB on Thursday.

Sorry if my bait and switch question bothered anyone.
