New update is pretty slick how do I find the HDR Feature? And I like how it shows how long your friend last signed in.. my only complaint is it only goes to over a month ago it doesn't seem to show if they been off 3 to 4 months or over a year it just says over a month ago.

My thing is will it show that you signed on if your in incognito mode? Like will it show me as last signed in a week ago if I remain invisible 4 a week??? Other then that everything looks sweet so far!

Not sure if it is understood or not but you wont see a difference in games that don't support the HDR feature, like NBA2k17 is going to release an HDR patch for their game some time after its release.

So HDR is enabled by Default? If not is this how I trun it on? And I don't need a 4k TV to notice the difference do I?

And what exactly do I look for with HDR Graphics,Colors? What does HDR do hopefully I'll notice it..

And hopefully all games will look better now hopefully someone can confirm if stuff looks better now and what games...

You wont see any difference without a HDR TV, or without games or videos that support HDR. So similar to the PS4 Pro you wont get the full effect of the new HDR mode without a HDR TV.

I tested this in the Beta, and it showed my incognito status as "offline" time.

Ok good to know regarding incognito mode.. also how can I tell if my TV and games support HDR? Is there anyway to tell?? If so I'd be happy to know how as my TV is only 2 yrs old so hopefully it supports it.. thx again..

You might be a year behind I believe only 2015 models and up support the HDR feature check Rtings.com they will tell you all you need to know about your current TV or anyother TV.

For HDR, you need a 4K UHD TV with HDR. HDR must be 10 BIT to get the true and full effects of it. Also, wide color gamut must be YES when looking at listings.

In addition, the outgoing source to the TV (PS4 Slim, PS4 PRO, Xbox One Slim) MUST support HDR and finally, the games themselves MUST support HDR. Thus far, NBA 2K17 (multi-platform), Forza Horizon 3 (Xbox One Slim) and Gears of War 4 (Xbox One Slim) are the closest upcoming games that support HDR on their respective consoles.

Future games supporting HDR is entirely dependent on the developer/publisher of the respective game.

Really surprised they didn't just cancel the orders, this is not going to end well for them man. If Amazon opens up that 20% discount to go all the way like Best Buy instead of just on new games in the first 2 weeks that would be huge. Do it right now and take all the angry gamers.

I doubt there's that many angry people....most people don't pre-order consoles anymore since you can walk in and get one...

PSN is down again.

Getting ridiculous at this point. This is how you lose a sales lead. Poor decisions, being cocky, too much downtime, poor price points, delayed games. Sony needs to right this ship soon or they are going to be watching the Xbox One blow right by them in sales. I've seen many people comment to me on Twitter that they are switching to XB1 due to the PS4 Pro underwhelming, the downtime of PSN, the delayed games, etc.

I on the other hand ride out whatever system I choose at the start. I rode the 360 through all the RROD last gen. A few bad decisions doesn't ruin my overall experience, but this PSN stuff has to get cleared up fast. Inexcusable to be down this much especially the month you raise prices.

MS will make bad decisions again, and so will Sony. Both companies get cocky for some reason when they start to get good.
