Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I found that comment kind of strange. I am going to try and look for the article somewhere to provide context.
It definitely seems like frame rate improvements aren't guaranteed with the Pro in the least bit even with full Pro Mode supported games, which is a bit of a bummer for me as I am a "60 FPS or bust: kind of guy (I know a lot of guys don't really feel the differene between 30 and 60" and I figured that would be a main deal with every Pro game
Sorry about that, I apologize for going off topicLast edited by The JareBear; 11-03-2016, 10:14 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not to cut through the PS4 Pro excitement, but if you guys were going with one FPS this Holiday season which would it be?

Just my two cents. Can't go wrong with BF1 either, it's GREAT as well!"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah I am not in a relationship hate being single though so boring but if you are in a relationship you shouldn't have to give up hobbies. Yes compromise on some things but that is different then completely giving up something. Now if all you do is play video games or you have a baby or kid and instead of playing with them and watching them you just play video games instead then yeah that is a problem. I don't play video games has much has I would to any more even though I am single because I just don't have the time like I used to with work, school and trying to keep up on sports my number 1 hobby.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I read something from a dev recently (I just can't remember which one) where they talked about their game's Pro Mode was about visual upgrades and not FPS improvements and they made a comment that was something like "our game game engine isn't meant to run at 60 fps on console" or something like that.
I found that comment kind of strange. I am going to try and look for the article somewhere to provide context.

60 or 30 FPS I don't care looks and fells 100% the same to me and from what a lot of people have said I think a lot of people can not tell the difference. The only way I know if a game is 30 or 60 is because of what is told by the developers or because of a video from like digital founder showing how a game runs.Comment

If you have Last of us remastered it has an in game option to do 30fps and 60fps
Toggle it and see how different it moves and how different it looks.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm rocking my 65" two year old Sony, non 4K/HDR set and I'm still 99% certain I'm going to get the Pro.
I don't know why, I probably don't need it, and I probably won't reap the majority of its advantages but... I still want it. Lol. I mean, how can I not be gaming on the best version of the PS4 available?
Besides... I'm sure at some point in Q1 next year I'll upgrade the TV as well. My "old" Sony is a good candidate for my man cave.....Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Completely agree with you there. I'm not someone who clamors for 60 over 30, but there is no way you can't tell the difference in LoU. In fact, I did exactly what you suggested back when I first picked it up for PS4... I couldn't switch back to 60 fast enough. Lol.Comment
