I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Not a huge deal but still annoying. Don't understand why this happens.
I've definitely noticed more lag in opening/closing programs the past couple of weeks.

Speaking of lag, I haven't checked it against my TV lately until now, but my Remote Play is microseconds faster than my Sammy plasma since the 4.50 update. It's incredible how far they've come with it.

With the upcoming firmware update supporting external hard drives just curious what is the recommended brand to use. I've been looking at the seagate & western digital brands. Thanks.

Most get WDs, usually leaning heavily to the ones that are USB-powered, so you don't have to plug the drive into power also. Just plug in the USB and go.

Ok thanks just like to get some ideas before I make a purchase. Yep I'll be getting the USB ones for sure. Here's a 2tb WD passport external hard drive usb 3.0 I was looking at.

I have never really played the Crash games but I have heard a lot of good things about them so I am getting this. Sure wish I had more time to game though. I have like 10 games to get this year and getting the switch.

JUst curious but would USB powered hard drives cause any over heating issues with PS4 vs a self powered external?

I have a Seagate 2TB one for my Xbox One. Will probably pick up the same one for my PS4.

I'm thinking of picking up this seagate expansion 2tb while it's on sale here in canada for $99 at best buy. I don't need a ton of space so the 2tb will be plenty extra for me. I can only afford to get so many games.

I have the 5tb Seagate Expansion plus and I highly recommend it. I don't have it hooked up to my ps4 as I'm not in the firmware beta, but it's been a solid backup for my pc.

With the best buy visa checkout deal right now you can snag it for just over $100. Not a bad deal.

I'm not sure wtf going on but I'm starting to get very irritated

I recently got the ps4 pro however the 1 Tb drive is way too small as most of the games I own eat up alot of space..

Anyway everything works great on my 1tb hard drive... no lock ups freezes errors what so ever

So I'm thinking either it's a hard drive issue or an issue with the update file on playstation.com

However I decided to try my 2 tb hard drive again today & got everything back on & installed

However just like before the system when I tired my 2tb drive a week ago it just locks up & freezees forcing me to have to unplug the system from behind

Before I was getting this issue & it would say an error has occurred in the system software

Before that I would get a serious error has occurred in the system software & it would boot me to safe mode..

Now I'm not getting these messages yet however the system locks up & freezes same issues but thankfully it hasn't gave me the message yet..

However this issue only occurs with my 2 tb hard drive non of this occurs on my 1tb drive

Is anyone else experiencing issues with there hard drive causing issues with the pro after replacing the 1tb hard drive?? If so did a Software update from Sony fix this issues when downloaded from the system vs playstation.com???

Or is the issue steaming from the Update file on playstation.com??? I doubt it since it doesn't act up on my 1tb drive

If the System Software fixes the issues then I may just have to wait & play the 2 games I've been playing until then but it's getting irritating for sure thx guys
