I was trying to look it up, but does anyone know if Sony was upgrading people's Vue packages? I saw I had extra channels when I flipped on ESPN yesterday, and found out I'm upgraded to the highest package until the end of January paying the lowest tier rate. It's awesome, but don't know why it happened.

Hmmm.. I wonder if they're trying to keep customers with their new price increases. I bet a ton of people cancelled so they're just trying to retain customers... if I had to guess. I'll check mine tonight..

(Regarding PS Vue) Looks like this /\ happened. I got an email a few days ago stating I was upgraded for 6 months to their top package. (I normally have the base package) Pretty cool.

Anybody getting weird beeping sounds?? This just started today...it starts beeping then goes fast then stops..then starts up again.

Also noticed it dosent make beeping noise when turning it on either.

I've never had any issues before like this so was just curious.

Trading in my PS4 slim this week. Great, great console, but currently aimed at more "serious" gaming experiences than what I have time to appreciate. And this Gen, quality arcade titles are few and far between.

Gonna REALLY miss the Show & Driveclub/Driveclub Bikes. Also, really reliable piece of tech with a easy to navigate UI and Digital Store.

Had a lot of fun checking out games like Dragon Quest, No Man's Sky, Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn and Bloodborne (among others), but I never get further than 25% in those games.

I was disappointed GT Sport didn't release sooner, and I also wanted to play the next God of War game.

Some games never really appealed to me like Gravity Rush, Persona 5, Nioh and Nier. Other games were high quality but gave me too much of a "been there done that" feeling like Yakuza 0, Ratchet, LBP3 and Street Fighter.

All in all, I will reconsider Sony when the PS5 drops, and I hope that they incorporate Backwards Compatibility for both previously owned digital content on the PS3/4 AND disks going back to the PS2 era.

Are you getting out of console gaming or just done with the PS4?

Just done with the PS4. In April I found a 1 TB Xbox one on clearance for $105. So I grabbed, having never intended to play Xbox this gen. But I had always wanted to play the Forza games. Anyway, a promo came up at Gamestop this week to get up to $200 for the PS4 towards a Switch. So I figured "why not" since I had wanted a Switch since it was announced, and I only paid $200 for the PS4 slim on Black Friday 2016. So it ended up being a series of random circumstances that led to the move.

My main reason for wanting the PS4 was the Show and Gran Turismo, but the last few months I've just had more fun with XB's arcadey exclusives. (Also, I played the GT Sport beta and was underwhelmed...I played TONS of GT5 and GT6.) The Switch trade in deal gets you $150 for the XB1 as well, so it came down to Forza vs. the Show and since I've played the Show for 10 years, I chose the change of pace.

Hopefully The Show (and Gran Turismo for that matter) on PS5 will be groundbreaking.
