Hardware is always only as powerful as the software written for it. As programmers find new ways to program the software they can get more out of the hardware. It's why a game programmed for the PS2 at launch looks like crap compared to a game programmed for the PS2 several years later.

Right I understand the at the begging of a gen that games don't looks has good has games later in a gen but the difference between a launch ps3 game and a late ps2 game is bigger then a launch ps2 and a late ps2 game.

What do you guys think this means for like Ps5 and going forward? I have been wondering how like systems are going to work going forward. With like the ps4 pro I think the day of 5-6 year console gens may be over. I have been thinking that maybe Sony would come out with there next system in 2019 as that would mean 3 years from ps4 to ps4 pro and 3 years to ps5. But I have also been thinking that they wouldn't want to give Microsoft 2 years being the by far the most powerful system on the market but I also think if they came out with a ps5 next year only 2 years after pro that you may piss off a lot of people and considering ps4 is still sailing great and still has some big games coming out like GOW, Spider-Man, TLOU 2 I am not sure if ps5 is going to come out any time soon. Could this be a way for Sony to stay in the ball park of xbox one x power wise with out having to come out with a ps5 in the next year or 2?

also Kinda Read the RX stuff is bit bogus when it comes to the PS4 PRO, there saying it can double to 8.2 TF, then read that can never happen.

Described as a "narrative-driven adventure game of conquest, betrayal, and survival".

Last Frontier blurs the line between the humans and apes. Players will be given the chance to understand both sides of the conflict by allowing them to play as both humans and apes during the course of the game. Talk about your under the radar announcements and, to be coming out in a few months? Man, I hope this is good. Definitely want to hear/see more since I'm a fan of the series.

Found additional info. Sounds ambitious with having interactions every 20 secs or so.

Set around a year after Dawn, the game centers around a breakaway faction of apes who take refuge in the Rocky Mountains from the ongoing human-ape war, but are forced to descend into a human-owned valley as Winter draws in and food depletes.

Imaginati’s rule of thumb is for players to be making a choice, whether that’s a conversation or physical action, every 15-20 seconds.

The customize lists is a cool feature but sony did not give the option to put it in the quick menu for the beta. The black notification blends in better, do not know why they had it switched to a white background.

Idk if anyone's played That's You which was one of the free PS + games this month or last month but if you play it with a bunch of friends it's a lot of fun.
