This makes me sick...A little while ago it looked like Sony got their you-know-what together and my internet speeds were more in line with what was coming in the house. It got terrible again in a hurry but this is just unacceptable.

I recently bumped my internet speeds at home up and on WiFi am getting somewhere between 200-300mb/S. Or higher as the pic illustrates. On my PS4, hard-wired no less? Embarrassing speeds. Sadly that was the best of the three tests I did on my PS4.

Sony, you should be ashamed of yourself, charging what MS does for their online service and not even being able to sniff their jockstraps.

Yeah, their download servers are terrible. The built in speed test is essentially useless.

Have you tried opening the web browser and using some non-java speed tests? I've gotten pretty close to my PC speeds on those. The system menu speed test always shorts me a lot

I liked the Slim buttons. For some reason I don't really dig the Pro buttons, not like its a big deal or anything. Just being nit-picky. Never had an issue, just think the design maybe could have been a bit better there.

Did the pro fix the disc eject problem too like the slim?

Guys please let me know what video settings I should have my PS4 on, my tv is 4K and HDR, should I leave it on automatic?

Funny that you ask because I actually spent hours last night on this actually and finally, after reading page after page of opinion decided that the best settings turned out to be quite simple:

RGB setting: FULL (if your tv supports this)
Everything else: Automatic

The setting for resolution is one that I really focused on and ultimately decided to go with AUTOMATIC because when viewing HDR content the PS4 will put it into YUV420, which handles the HDR function @ 8 bits whereas if you're viewing non-HDR the PS4 will set it to the RGB mode which means the PS4 will be outputting at 10 bit (for better color).

Make sure your tv has its input set to HDR enabled btw, if you've got a Samsung TV then it's the UHD Color mode option which can be found in expert settings.
