Yeah, this whole thing tonight was handled like crap.
Amazon and Gamestop had it available at 12am eastern. Best Buy randomly had it available just now and Target still says Coming Soon.
If they're going to do an extremely limited edition release like this, they need to time this **** up so everyone has it on sale at the same time instead of random times where no one has a clue when the hell it's gonna come on sale.
And actually have the website show it on sale instead of just saying Coming Soon all night and then randomly update and say "oops, Sold Out!"
Either that or Sony needs to just handle limited releases like this either solely through their own website or pick a single place like Amazon or Best Buy to release it on.

Agreed. Sony dropped the ball on this one.

Looks like Gamestop finally sold out of their $599.99 Collector's Bundles and $734.99 Ultimate Bundles of the console, lol. Those were still available for a good while after the actual regular $500 LE console sold out.
No way in hell I was spending $600 or $735 for the bundle just to get a headset or a headset, year of Plus and $75 gift card though, so I never even considered them.
Well what the hell. It never even showed up as being on sale for me. It's said nothing but "Coming Soon" the entire time for me for the past hour and a half. I couldn't even add it to my cart. Same with Target. I've probably refreshed both websites over a hundred times.

I think back when the nes classic first came out it was said that they where going to like be solid at a date and time or something on amazon and i was on there that night reloading the page and it never said it was for sale so i know how that is lol. I see on amazon there is already some one trying to sale for like $1400 lol.

Yeah, something strange was going on. A couple OSers were able to order one from Best Buy, yet I was refreshing the page repeatedly from midnight to 1:30am and it just kept saying Coming Soon until suddenly and instantly updating and saying Sold Out at 1:26am.
Target still says Coming Soon even now at 3:17am, but when you search for the Target 500 Million PS4 Pro website listing on Google, Google shows it as being sold out. So I have no clue what the hell was going on.
Oh well, I wasn't seriously expecting to be able to actually get one, it just would have been cool to do so. Instead I'm planning on putting in an order for a regular PS4 Pro on the Gamestop website on Monday.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

buy it now is trending around 1000...I have a hard time believing they will sell for that much. I mean I know it is a limited edition and all, but you would think desire for a console would be highest when first released. When Ps4 first released those were usually only going for 100-200 over msrp.
Mine just shipped. Was worried for a minute with me nervously inputting the wrong cc code. All good now.
Not gonna lie with what these are selling for on Ebay the temptation is real.

Yeah, I would tempted as hell too! Spend $500 initially to make essentially $1,000 if those indeed end up selling for those prices. Double your money with zero effort.
