Is anyone else here experiencing extremely slow download speeds on their Playstation 4? I'm getting like 1 to 4mbps. I noticed it last night and it's still going on. I checked my Xbox, laptop and everything else is blazing fast at well over 125mbps (I have 150mbps through Cox). Is something going on I'm not aware of.

I checked my Xbox, laptop and everything else is blazing fast at well over 125mbps (I have 150mbps through Cox). Is something going on I'm not aware of.

I have solid speed down outside of the PS4, but even with a wired connection it's throttled as well.

I played and completed Vampyr last summer. A great 8.5/10 for me personally. Really enjoyed the game and I love the upgrading/choice system in the game. It's real good. One of the few games this generation that I regret not buying and playing day one. Hope you enjoy the game. Hoping for a next gen sequel.

Not sure if this will help but when my PS4 is downloading slow I reboot my modem and it fixes the problem. I turn it off for at least one minute and restart it.

I have that speed issue for months since Sony started throttling their speeds because of Covid-19. I usually pause the download for a few seconds and restart it. That usually fixes the problem. However, if it's late afternoon, early evening, it won't matter as it's being completely throttled anyway. If I download a game in the morning like I did yesterday with Shadow of War, no issues whatsoever. I do know that either way, there is a cap and limit on PS4 in regards to internet speed as I have seen plenty of people post it on other forums. I don't remember what it is though.

I guess this was always a possibility but now they warn you when you enter a party.

The new update requires you to start or be in a group with someone before joining or even being able to see available parties to join. I can see some benefit to it, but initially it's bad.

There's no way to mute or disable notifications for groups so if people are posting in there you are getting all of those notifications/pop ups on the PS4.

They also took away several features with the PSN/messenger phone app. I don't get what Sony is doing here because they are making things less user friendly and unnecessarily complicated IMO.

Tech question as I know there are probably a few people here who can answer (I think I already know the answer but just want to confirm):

If my PS4 Pro is set on 2160p (4K) output resolution in the system-level settings, then is it downsampling the 4K to my native 1440p monitor, or is it stretching the Pro's 1080p?

Reason I ask is because I don't really feel like the image quality on my monitor takes a hit despite the Pro not having an actual 1440p setting. I also don't feel any meaningful input or audio lag - it's as good or better than my older 1080p one in that regard, and I can prove that (to myself) because I have a rhythm game with its own calibration system and I haven't had to adjust that at all for the new monitor. Then there's also MLB The Show which still feels as responsive at hitting as it did before.

This also somewhat ties into the news about PS5 not having native 1440p - if it's the same thing happening for that system as what my Pro and this monitor are doing, I doubt I'm going to have any issues with it.

Is anyone else having an extremely difficult time trying to access the Add On's in the psn store??

I'm always looking to see what new add on's have been added to see if any of my games received any..

Now when you go to add on's tab in psn store it no longer shows what's new or let's you see all add on's

Instead it shows Must See, Themes, & Avatars. + if you scroll all way to the end the menu option to show more is gone as well..

Is there any way to too see what new add on's have been added to the psn store?? Thanks guys...
