Re: E3 Discussion Thread
Feel that way myself. I tried to view Sony's conference on my PS3 and had problems; had to log onto my computer/cnet.com just to see it. Well-played conference by Sony though. I'm pretty surprised it's MS pushing the DRM stuff. Add on the additional $100 price point and it'll definitely come off as hubris on Microsoft's part. I still like the MS controller, Xbox Live, and the multimedia extras/cool Kinect tricks you'll get w/XB1.
But haven't seen anything from either company that would make me want to purchase either system this year. Eventually I'll own both, as I own a PS3 and a 360 now. I got my 360 way before I got a PS3. But as of today I'd lean towards purchasing a PS4 first before I get the XB1.HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
Microsoft's games werent going to win them anything. And PS4 had its fair share of exclusives as well.
The games werent the decider today. We knew what the big deal of E3 this year would be. And Sony was well aware of it obviously.Comment

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
The last part of the Conference was funny for sure...I'll probably still get the Xbox but now not getting at launch. With all the people getting the PS4 and not being happy with the restrictions Xbox One not going to do to well. I have a feeling those prices are going to drop real fast on the Xbox.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
I definitely liked MS's conference better in terms of the games shown. However, the PS4 offers way more value at the current price points. I'm an xbox fan, but I can't ignore that.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
MS already has its selling points. Kinect, TV Integration, Better Entertainment/Online Ecosystem (at this point) and the potential of cloud computing. The question is are they compelling enough to justify the price point.
A lot of smoke is blown about used games and always online but the price point is what actually matters. The perception before E3 was that MS was playing it safe specs wise and PS4 was going for the premium gamers system, yet the price points are the opposite of that. Microsoft has done a **** job at properly positioning the XBOX ONE and their PR has been even worse.
They've got a lot of selling to do by October.Comment

Re: E3 Discussion Thread
They are pricing bundles in comparison to full retail of Xbone alone.
PS4 and a couple games for 570 seems reasonable compared to Xbone bare no games for 500. Its clever enough lol
The NBA Live bundle is the best imo if that means it comes with a second controller and NBA Live for 459Last edited by kingkilla56; 06-10-2013, 10:50 PM.Comment
