FWIW, friend at E3 has had hands on both new controllers and prefers the new Dual Shock over the new Xbox One controller. Prefers the older 360 controller over the new one also.
I've always liked the Dualshock Controllers a little better for quick reflexes in sports and shooters. My only complaint has been the width. I like the idea of a wider controller. It should be really helpful for those with bigger hands.

Any reason why. From what I've seen it's basically the exact same controller with better thumb sticks and rumble in the triggers.
At least the previews I've seen have said that. In fact one said they took a great controller and made it better.
Wonder what he didn't like.
Can't wait to get some kiosks in the stores later in the year.

I asked, he said it was hard to explain, there were points/hard edges, sounded like maybe it would take a concious adjustment, where the new PS4 controller had nothing jarring like that and liked the changes. PS4 > 360 > One > DS3 is how he'd rank his preference in controllers.
I work at Toys R Us and a woman came in to reserve the xbox one and HAD no idea about anything about it. Just knew her son loved xbox 360. I explained the price difference, the polices, and that Xbox is awesome for those wanting more entertainment as TV but recommended the PS4 for strictly gaming. Two calls later, she came to find me to pre order the PS4. Just an example of people knowing nothing about either console. They both will be great consoles but the problem is MS seems to have policies that conflict with most gamers interests.
