Will it do this automatically for Sd or will I have to do this each time I change from hd to sd. I want the sd to stretch but not the hd.

I believe that once you set the setting, it stays there. Those settings have no impact on HD content, so your experience there will be the same, and it should apply to all SD channels.

Let me know if that isn't true.

Is there a way to switch sound on the snap function. Ex: I was playing Ryse and I wanted to snap the tv in. That worked fine but the problem was I wanted to switch it so that the sound was coming from Ryse and not the tv. Everytime I switched I was able to switch control but the sound would always stay with the tv.

Currently, no. Known issue though and something that we want to fix. I'll let you know when something gets shipped.

I have one of the Motorola FIOS boxes. It wants to go on stand by every four hours or so. Is there a way that the xbox can wake it up?

DirecTV Genies do that too if you don't interact with them for 4 hours. Not sure if there's a setting on the box, but I don't see that being an Xbox problem or one that the Xbox One could really solve.

mestevo's right, but we do send a power command to the cable box when the Xbox boots if you've opted into that in TV & OneGuide -> Power settings.

Not really a tv issue I ran into, but a Kinect one you may have heard....

I went to try Preseason Kinect Rivals game, works fine until the start of the game when it says it can't have things blocking Kinect (or something similar) and to try troubleshooting Kinect.

Our couch gets picked up by Kinect, but I went to troubleshooting and did the "does it see your floor" and "match with green dot" stuff and it all worked.

Kinect sees me for hand gestures and facial recognition.

I just tried messing with it for 5 mins before giving up, thought you may have an idea.

I think I had enough room to realistically play, maybe not 2 players, but probably enough.

Thanks for the input! No bigggie, as I'd probably move the couch back if I ever got a dance game, but figured I could play without moving for simpler games.

Hey mgoblue, I'm sorry, but I don't have any great tips. My family and I haven't tried too many Kinect games yet, and we mainly use it for voice and facial recognition.

I know the Kinect team is aware of some of the false recognition issues, where furniture or cats mess with the sensor.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the power signal works fine as both the TV and box turn on. It's really not a big deal. I guess I was just wondering if I could get the One to send a power signal to the box without having to use the remote.

Thanks...i'll mess around with it...I don't normally do much with Kinect now, and know I'd have to move the couch for fitness anyways

No prob, just thought I'd see if anyone's run into this

Tried fitness for the first time this weekend. Really an awesome and complete product.

Tracking (including heart rate), stats, achievements, bunch of free videos with Gold, and more to purchase. Very, very impressed. My wife was intrigued as well.

If you have the space in front of the TV, I recommend trying it out.

I've been using it non stop since launch. I'm loving it other than:

                            1) Occasional bandwidth issues that would not self-correct. Therefore I have to restart workouts one in awhile.

                            2) I think it's read my heart rate 3 times in 30 workouts and 2 of those were incorrect.

The February update has minor TV related fixes, mostly around fixing some crashes. Most users won't notice anything. There's also some fixes for IR remotes and Xbox One.

I've started keeping release notes in a OneNote file for the stuff I work on or am aware of, so with future updates I'll share that with you guys. Those will likely be more substantial anyway.
