As someone with both systems, I enjoy the Xbox's launch A LOT more.

Forza, Ryse, DR3 have all been quality plays.

Madden has been the most enjoyable Madden for me in years. I struggle going back to play NCAA.

    FIFA plays butter smooth.

I am extremely happy with the next gen systems and cannot wait for The Show and Titanfall.

For those of you with issues with the xbox bumpers, what is it exactly? I played on my friends Xbox one and the controller feels good except something with the bumpers. I'm not sure if it's the way I hold it, but it's like I have to lift my index fingers with a bit more effort to press the bumpers. Not sure if it's me or if that's what you guys are referring to.

You're not doing it right. You should be keeping your finger tip on the trigger and hitting the bumper with the middle part of your finger (by sliding it over it) to use it correctly,

Exactly! It sounds wacky, but when you do it then you hit the button so easily.

Was watching Amazon Video (Ender's Game) and needed to change a diaper. After wrangling my son, him in one arm, diaper and wipes in the other hand I plop him down on the couch and bark over my shoulder at the TV...

Xbox, Pause. Xbox, Pause. Xbox! Pause! XBOX! PAUSE!

I then reach over to the PS4 controller and pause the movie.

              Oops.

Just bought a PS4 to go with my launch XB1. WOW. The difference in power and graphics is a more significant than I expected. The PS4 is definitely the more powerful console.

I posted a few pics and impressions in this thread the other day.

One gripe I have so far though, button placement or Options and Share buttons are awful and really hard to get to. Other than that, though it isn't as nice looking as the XB1 controller, I actually prefer the new PS4 dual shock.

You'll get used to them, certainly took a while though.

Yea it felt awkward for me at first to, but once you get use to them they feel fine.

Question for those with both consoles. Im looking for some good headsets that will work with both the PS4 and the Xbox one. I don't chat much online and am looking for a pair of headsets mainly for great sound. I normally have time to game during the night or early morning when the wife and kids are asleep and want something that sounds great but wont disturb the household.

With that said, I am really considering the Astro A50 headphones ( http://www.astrogaming.com/a50 ) Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with these and if you do what are your opinions on them. Also, how is the wireless signal? I used to own turtle beach wireless headsets and they would constantly cut out every so often which was annoying.

Question regarding PSN. How reliable is it. On the ps3 I would get a fair share of drops and errors as well as psn being down. Lead to much more of my gaming happening on the more reliable XBL. Now with many developers preferring the playstation to develop on. I am leaning toward a ps4 this go around. However. The ultimate deciding factor for me is online. How is party chat on the ps4? How reliable is online. Are downtimes or disconnects from the network frequent? I know what I am getting with XBL. But if playstation plus can compare, I might make the jump.

There have been moments of down time (day after Christmas, and some issues the day they launched system update 1.6 and the free game Outlast). But Live has had some outages post X1 launch as well.

I've been a critic of PSN, but it has been pretty decent with a few exceptions. I've only been disconnected from a party once. The party was still there when I connected again so it could have been just my connection. Who knows.

To be honest, I'm somewhat surprised with how reliable the party chat system has been for me. Other than the Vita, this is Sony's first go at it. I thought there would be some growing pains with it initially, but it has been pretty solid so far.
