In general, the exclusives for Xbox One were better than PS4 but for me personally, they're equally crappy and disappointing. Since launch, I only played ONE exclusive for PS4 which was Knack. I could add in The Last of Us Remastered but I had already played it a year earlier on PS3 and after playing it again, im trying my best to stay away from all remasters, collections and definitive editions. For Xbox One, I only want to play Ryse: Son of Rome but not bad enough to go buy the console for.

The FPS genre is my least favorite genre that I play. Since the start of the Xbox 360 and PS3 generation, I have only played and finished five FPS with three of them being part of the Far Cry (FC 4, FC 3 and FC 3: BD) franchise. I'm going to buy Battlefield Hardline but only because it's not in a war zone. I like the cops and robbers theme to it and when I consider the $10 reward cert and 20% off at Best Buy, even if I end up not liking it and trade it in the next day, I won't lose anything at all from buying it.

The next exclusive that I have any interest in is The Order: 1886. After that, Bloodborne is 50/50. Xbox One wise, their next three are Scream Ride, Ori and the Blind Forest and State of Decay complete edition or whatever it's called. Already have State of Decay with both DLC packs on Xbox 360. Have no interest in Scream Ride and lost interest in Ori which means that exclusive wise, there's nothing for me until Quantum Break later this year and Rise of the Tomb Raider which is a timed exclusive.

In short, the third party support is carrying both consoles which is basically the opposite of Wii U. 2014 was definitely a disappointing year in regards to Xbox One and PS4 but yet, both were still better than the first plus year of Xbox 360 and PS3. Nevertheless, it's funny that an Xbox 360 game was my 2014 game of the year (AC Rogue). LOL.

Hoping that 2015 turns out better which it should unless last quarter games get delayed until 2016.

The first batch of controllers did have an issue with the rubber tops peeling. I believe Sony replaced these for free if you are under warranty. Now they don't use rubber, no more issue.
I get the occasional can't upload error, no idea what causes it. Doesn't bother me I don't use or understand "the cloud".
My console is very quiet. The only time I even hear it is when I'm installing a game from a disc.
I don't use wifi on any of my consoles , I like them hard wired, so I can't comment in that issue.
Removing functions of the controller (Rumble) to improve batter life is not what I consider solution. Just an excuse

It seems like all he does is look for an opportunity to bash the Xbox whenever he can. It's the cool thing to do around here. Talking pointless sales and comparing the Xbox to the sega Saturn, complaining about music unsnap which no one else cares for but himself, and anyone who prefers the Xbox is questioned on why they prefer the inferior console according to him. Let people enjoy what they want and like.

Maybe on here he's one of the only ones. On reddit there's a long list of people complaining about how useless the media player app is until it can be put into the background.

DS4 complaint is pretty common and reasonable, but it's never been an issue for me. I have two controllers and my current set up has me pretty close to my PS4 so charging isn't an issue ever. I use my Wireless Golds just as much and they have a similar battery life..

It's better than requiring an extra accessory like a battery pack or AA batteries. That technology seems a bit outdated now.

Still not sure how the Xboxone battery pack is Any different than the ps4s. Ps4s is just built in. I like having the option of pack or batteries.

Yep...it is the number one requested feature on the MS site of desired features for the One with over 16,000 signatures.

That last weeks per charge, and cheap to replace. I've used the same 4 rechargable AA batteries since 2010. If a handful of years down the road you need to replace the PS4 battery, it would cost a bit more (assuming you cant get a replacement for under $10...not to mention needing to take the controller apart to do so.)

and lasting somewhere between 4-8 hours as reported by people, needing to invest in longer usb cables, buying charging docks, getting extra controllers to have on hand if one dies, dimming the useless light and turning vibration off to extend the battery life...yeah i'd rather have the "outdated" technology, seems less inconvenient.

To each their own, we hit on this topic every couple weeks, people vow their allegiance to batteries, cabled connections, and docks.

Related, after using my Xbox One controller at a LAN a good chunk of last weekend I might finally get my second, but for my PC . So long, OG wired Xbox 360 controller, you were a good PC gamepad for a long time.
