Co-sign. That was a solid presser. Very excited about that new Elite controller and backwards compatibility on the one. Tomb raider and Halo 5 looked solid(Looks like Halo 5 had some "Star Wars Rebublic Commando" elements in regards to issuing orders to teammates-a new wrinkle in gameplay). Would have liked to hear something more about DX-12 and it's impact on the platform but no luck...HoloLens looked cool but I'm guessing that will be a fairly expensive piece of tech out of the gate. Kinect news surprisingly absent. They kept it on the games and that was a plus..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Yikes!! That's half the price of a console almost

150 not bad for what it does.

You ever heard of the scuff controllers

This controller has it all and comes with its own app.

It is an elite controller and regular controllers with silly paint are 65 to 70

This blows those out and it will sell a ton for 150

Not sure I'm in at 150. I'm not one to complain about price much but my headset was like 150. 300 bucks for a controller Nd headset just doesn't seem right. Maybe I'll come around.

This is not just a coat of paint on xbox one controller that is 60 already

This is a fully customizable controller with its own app to map the buttons

Check out all it can do

Designed for the Xbox One and Windows 10, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller offers swappable components, hair trigger locks, and endless customization. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of thumbsticks, D-pads, and paddles for an experience that’s perfect for you. And in addition to swapping components, you can re-map buttons and paddles, tweak thumbstick sensitivity curves, and also change the min/max values of the triggers.

Re: Microsoft Press Briefing News and Notes

I was anticipating Microsoft's E3 Presentation the most. I thought it was an excellent announcement. From the MS E3 Discussion thread, I listed 5 items I hoped to see in moving me towards purchasing an XBOX this year.

What new IPs besides what's already been mentioned are they releasing?
Sea of Thiefs looks real promising. There were a number of Indie titles too that caught my attention. Those should be up soon to review hopefully. All the previously mentioned titles are biggies for MS fans. For me, not so.

Is there an exclusive sports game to reveal?
I purchased a PS4 for The Show. A Dreamcast for 2K Sports. A new MS sports title would have been money. My anticipation has been tempered.

Is the console getting a redesign? Price slash again?
I like the new controller and 1 TB console! Best Buy is doing a trade-in promotion at the moment regarding your old systems.

Quantum Break - More gameplay, information hype, TV series gameplay explanation.
Sadly, this was a no show. I'll look into it again during Gamescom but why would you leave one of your most anticipated titles until later is strange.

Win10 integration.
Wasn't really mentioned at all. I'm sure at the E3 booths there will be many discussions going on. Even though there wasn't much news, I think I have most of the answers I need.

So am I getting an XBOX 1 this year? NO. Will I be playing Microsoft games? YES. Really sounds like we'll be able to play XBOX games on your pc soon once we upgrade to Win10, why would I need an XBOX? If exclusives (can/may) be streamed and depending on what kind of agreement is made with Valve. If I wanted to play Tomb Raider, I can get the pc version. Seems all I'm going to need down the road is an XBOX controller and reopen an XBOX Live account.

NYGiants- That sounds great..With the X1 going backwards maybe I can trade my 360 in finally and lighten the pocketbook hit....

BC is nice but if they don't support old games and allow memory transfer its useless to me. I still play games from 5 years ago.

Re: Microsoft Press Briefing News and Notes

Good point Raider about BC. For me, I bought a bunch of games for 360 on the cheap and have not gotten around to playing them all so nothing to worry about on most of the games I have left (mass effect 1-3, x-com, etc). For others, your theory certainly applies especially for multiplayer games like BF4, Call of Duty, etc. or single player games like Skyrim, where alot of achievements or game hours were earned..

Maybe I'm reading this wrong from MS but if xbox live is built inside Win10 why again would I need an XBOX1 if I can gain access to Live with Win10?

With Xbox on Windows 10, you’ll have more ways to connect and play, wherever you go. Your games, your friends, your achievements, and more follow you across Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. Xbox Live is built into Windows 10, giving you access to the greatest gaming community in the world, no matter where you are.

Is this the beta you're talking about? How about the Summer upgrade we haven't received yet? Again, these are the words from MS on their website that doesn't say limited store or library. I'm interpreting this as access to live on any win10 device. I could be wrong.
