I think we're all just reading into stuff wrong

I took it to mean that they will give us solid information today, but then the first real interview will be posted tomorrow.

Can we not turn this into the Joe Montana speculation thread?

I agree with you.... its atrocious. I don't get how they could let this happen... there is no game out there that needs to be this secret

The bigger tent pole games kind of underwhelmed me to be honest.

I hope it's just the demo they showed, but Halo 5 in particular, I'm not a fan of relying on more smoke and mirrors. This is a franchise under Bungie that did very little of this. They come out and talk about epic scale, but the demo shows it's just mostly in the peripheral. Halo scale is putting you into large sandbox-y combat bowls that have an awesome dynamism to combat. It's disappointing to not even see something close to rivaling the scale of Halo 3 missions like The Covenant, The Ark, and Tsavo Highway, or Assault on the Control Room, Halo, and Silent Cartographer from Halo Combat Evolved.

The new multiplayer mode Warzone looked great though.

Same. What they showed of Gears and Tomb Raider didn't wow me. Might just be the sections they showed, since Tomb Raider was a very scripted, cinematic part of the game, which were the worst parts of the last game IMO. Never was a huge Gears fan so that series has never wowed me past the first game also.

Sea of Thieves did look good though, and I'm intrigued to see what Recore is as its from Keiji Inafune and former Metroid Prime developers.

The best thing for them would be to announce tomorrow especially if they arent going to be in any of the press conferences. No need to get lost in the shuffle.

For me it was the volume of announcements. Just feels like there is a LOT going on with the console from the new controller, the tentpole releases, the medley of indies, the early access program with games like Elite available today, backward compatibility, using BC to create more value like the Rainbow Six Vegas games coming with Seige.

Heck, there are probably some people that could just buy that Rare bundle and be set until the next E3.

                          Xbox Elite controller is $150.

Looked cool, but I'm not interested at that price.

Will be watching the backward compatibility list to see if Tales of Vesperia ever lands on it.
