The HDR in this or any monitor unless it goes into 1000 nits is hot garbage. The monitor itself is fantastic for SDR gaming. But you cannot modify anything in HDR and there is a bluish tint and overexposed gamma in FAKE HDR

SDR looks amazing and it is free synch for xbox one x which makes it that much better.

If HDR is important to you then stick to tvs....if performance and great motion handling is important to you and better pixel density due to smaller screen then this monitor in HDR is awesome

am enjoying the monitor in SDR...brightness is great and colors amazing

I am also interested in the Dell new 1440p monitor with HDR and that nit level is 600 nits and colors and contrast are better than LG but is 1440p

It does take 4k signal and downsamples so good for ps4 pro and x but no free sync....HDR on that set is much better even if fake hdr

best buy has both monitors...dell one is 400 and lg is 350

Loaded up Madden 19 on my new LG 4K HDR monitor and it looks freakin amazing!! Tried it on my QLED Samsung and Madden looked like hot garbage.

I haven’t played Madden yet on the monitor, because only have it for the Xbox one X and that’s hooked up to my TV because my son plays it more then me. I have my Pro hooked to the monitor and man I’m sorry I can’t go by what others say, but the monitor looks amazing man. The PS4 Pro HDR enabled games are like WOW.

Black mamba, we are on the same page man. I don’t care what TV anyone is playing in, all my games look freaking amazing in the monitor.

I bought Detroit to Human tonight and damn this game looks amazing. IMG_1696.jpg


Pre-ordered Spider-Man tonight also and I can’t wait for that to play on this monitor, everything just looks better then anything I have personally games on.

You guys are hyping up this monitor pretty big. Might have to cop one when i move to my condo in manila since i won't have a 4k tv there but I'll have my ps4 pro and gaming laptop with me.

I have the 650 model, I know most have the 600 model, not sure what the difference is though .

If I’m correct the only difference is yours has height adjustment and tilt??

I agree with you 100% the games look amazing. Others may feel different but at the end of the day we all have our own opinions.

I can only find the 850 here right now, pretty expensive but I can connect my ps4, MacBook and windows laptop to it through display port. That will be pretty handy.

Agree man, I mean playing on a gaming monitor that looks this good breathes fresh life into gaming again from myself. I actually prefer it better than a TV.

You guys convinced me and went with the LG 850 version. Don’t have Much space in the condo so it’ll be a nice for my mini setup. Super convenient to have a usb-c connect

I have the 650 and other have the 600, the 850 is the superior model, but all the same line, this monitors are sweet man, enjoy and let us know how you like. Enjoy my friend.

Bought it yesterday. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: EVERYTHING looks a lot sharper and colors look nice. The controls are easy to navigate. The design of the monitor is very sleek. Free sync makes games on the Xbox X so much smoother. Cons: Blooming (my OLED spoiled me), HDR is ok on this set, I also noticed a little ghosting but it could be the game. Dirty screen on some of the corners.

I don’t know how I feel about playing on a monitor yet since I’ve played on a big screen and couch my entire life lol. This is a good monitor and madden looks amazing on it. I never seen madden look so sharp like this before. I’m going to continue playing on this monitor for a couple of weeks to see if I keep it. I may also need a more comfortable gaming chair as well.

I'm using my Monitor strictly for my Pro, and Madden looks phenomital on the PRO too.


I don't think I can ever go back to gaming on a TV.

One thing bothering me about this monitor is it has a slight blue push and there’s no way to adjust it when in HDR.
