    Re: PS VR

Have to admit that I pretty much agree with Jim Sterling in regards to VR. Unless you have $500+ to burn excluding games, I would say to take a wait and see approach. It's all going to come down to the games and them being games as opposed to two hour experiences. And I don't know about anyone else but Sony finding another use for PS Move, it's six year old technology and forcing it with PSVR turns me off completely. I still think that like so many motion based gimmicks, it will be either A) dead within in two years and Sony stops supporting it or B) it does well enough for Sony to release PSVR2 by 2020. Either way, just blah for me personally.

      Re: PS VR

Will pick my PSVR up tomorrow morning. Have my Pro already paid for at BB.
I have the $ and only other thing I do is golf, so I'm all in Lol...

Just need to decide on a few games. I'll get all horror type games then probably Drive Club. Need to get my wheel out of closet

You should pre-order Resident Evil 7 as the entire game is playable in VR.

            Just saw this article....

This is very disappointing considering its one of the major titles releasing on the VR. I think I'll see how long Gamestop will let me hold on to my preorder before actually picking it up. Hopefully members will be reporting back here with their experiences.

I tired the demo and didn't get sick at all. I will take what people say about motion sickness with a grain of salt. There were 2 guys on our boat that got sick the instant we got underway. Some people just can't handle it.

Yeah reviews for it have been really mixed. Some have it at 8/10 and others 6/10 etc...
Most say it really is immersive but the graphics took a hit. Some have gotten motions sickness while others played it fine. IMO it's one of those things you need to find out yourself...
Still looking to possibly grab it... if only tonight would get done

As long as it's fun I'll enjoy it.. (Unless I start puking like I did with Prey)

When I was younger nothing got me sick. A Carousel does now lol.
Worse was (like I mentioned) Prey.
The main games I'm looking forward to are the slower horror games so I hope to be fine.

Also, don't forget free for all Battlefront Star Wars owners there is Rogue One - X-wing which got rave reviews at Gamescom. I think its releasing next month or December.

Also most people will eventually get used to it. The first couple of times are always the worst.

All first person games give me motion sickness now. I played Battlefield: Hardline a few months ago and felt extremely sick.

Whats weird is that when I tried out PSVR, I felt fine.

Well I can say I'm happy so far with the purchase!
Been messing around with the demos and PSVR Game room (Or whatever it's called)..

Tonight I'll be playing the PSVR Worlds and Until Dawn Rush of Blood. Going to also grab Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (Been wanting to play that for a while), probably job simulator and lastly Tumble VR (That was pretty cool when I played the demo)

On the "maybe" list: The Brookhaven Experiment and Batman VR. Probably wait until it's on sale.
Was going to get Drive club but will hold out for a bit. We'll see.. but will more than likely wait for Gran Turismo.
Went ahead and downloaded the free apps also.

Setup was a breeze and yeah a few wires lol
However I have them nice and tucked as best as I could.
The biggest issue was getting the headset on right as far as getting a clear screen as far as text. Didn't take long though. The headset also fits fine over my glasses.

Daughter really like it also. Plan to get the wife on Rush of Blood tonight.

Anyways for me it's (like I said earlier) a new experience as far as gaming. It seems to be delivering so far but ultimately it will depend on the quality of games over time. Really want to play Star Trek Bridge Crew when it drops..... and most of not all horror games. (Which is why I'll probably grab Brookhaven)

Gold Headset works fine. Sucks that it has to be wired but it does connect right near you so no biggie really.
Had already purchased the charge station that charges 2 move controllers and 1 regular controller as well as a stand for headset.

Only thing left is to pick up the Pro when it drops!

                            How is the cinematic mode?

I have also just read that you can run other HDMI devices through the breakout box.....XOne/PC etc.

Nice. My wife saw that Amazon opened up more orders for the bundle this morning and she just sent me a text telling me that she ordered the launch bundle and we should get it on Saturday.
