The Star Trek DLC arrives Tuesday, May 22. I think I saw it priced at $14.99 but I'm not sure. IGN showcases its updates which includes the Enterprise (NCC-1701D), an android to play as, the Romulans, and the Borg. Can't wait. Resistance is futile. I know, I'm a nerd.

Finally played Star Wars Battlefront VR. Really cool. Enjoying the MLB Home Run Derby VR too. Trying to stay positive lol.

Dreams will support VR day one. This has unlimited possibilities for those who wish to create their own games.

PlayStation VR will now be supported from day one rather than in an update like previously announced. The move controllers can also be used as creation tools, you can even go in and use a keyboard if you have a lot of text to write up.

You can also copy and paste objects to make creation a lot easier rather than creating new objects all the time. I asked just how big you can create maps and Mark explained to me that they can be as big as you want them to be, but the assets will eventually run out. There are unfortunately only a certain amount of trees you can put down.

This issue can be avoided by creating level transitions but those looking to create a massive open world may have to think outside the box when it comes to how many assets they should put into their maps.

During the creation process, I was given the opportunity to go in and mess around with a pre-made level and create my own platform puzzle which took me less then five minutes to create a moving platform and animate it however I wanted.

We also went in and added some music to the level, and I must say the music creation tools are incredible. You can choose from pre-recorded sounds and instruments and then go in and combine them to make your own cool beat. You can also use the PlayStation Camera to record your own voice if you want vocals or even your own music.

The options for sound editing are immense. You can even go in and change the pitch of the songs and do everything that sound editors use and music recorders use to manipulate sounds and music. The options are limitless.

The year is 2003. The month, September. The game, Zone Of The Enders: The 2nd Runner. A sequel to 2001’s Zone Of The Enders, it came out on the PS2 and amassed a bit of a hardcore, cult following. The striking visuals, high-speed mech action and engaging, anime-inspired story struck a massive chord with PlayStation gamers. JEHUTY… If you know, you know.

Fast forward to present day and enter Zone Of The Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS. Every Voice Command you can use in Star Trek: Bridge Crew

There are occasionally delays in between pressing the Command button and the system actually listening as well, so you need to be patient if you want the command to actually be registered. A good way to make sure this isn't a problem is to start your command by addressing the individual crew member. For example, all you really need to say is "full stop" to get the Helm to stop your ship but if you say "Helm, full stop" the command has a higher accuracy rate because the first word didn't actually matter to the voice recognition engine.

Also, it’s worth calling out specifically that this game is nothing like the poorly-received Bravo Team despite surface-level similarities. Supermassive’s modern military shooter is wave-based and doesn’t allow for any locomotion whatsoever other than picking when to move up on a level, whereas Firewall is a full-on shooter with all the bells and whistles you’d expect of something like this. It’s the game players wanted Bravo Team to be, more or less.

Blood & Truth PSVR Hands-On – Shooter Inspired By London Heist

I was able to pry some information from the developers about Blood & Truth. The game is set to last around five to six hours, won’t feature any sort of multiplayer, and was developed around the success of the London Heist VR experience from the PlayStation VR Worlds game.
The environment is also quite interactive. Cover gets destroyed, and I was actually able at one point to open up a car door to use as cover.

I tried the Wipeout demo. Really fun. Not sure I’ll buy the full game. The demo was enough to make me puke.

Played through the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission a few times. I love it. I wish they did another one for Battlefront 2 or a full game. What are they waiting for?

Played the Ghostbusters VR games. Kind of fun. Super short. I eat up anything Ghostbusters related.

I went through the demo fine with no issues. Did you prefer 1st person or 3rd person? I think 3rd person was easier on the brain.

BBC Will Broadcast World Cup Matches on PSVR
