Re: PS VR
I loved the Aim Controller for PSVR. When Sierra and Firewall launch I definitely want something other than just the controllers. Kobra Vader Gun Stocks are one of the most popular VR accessories suppliers. Here's a good review that shows the positive and negatives of this new gun stock for the PSVR2. If there are other interesting options, please share.

Re: PS VR
Haven't played VR or much of anything lately. Been enjoying lots of free time with my wife which has been great. Been starting up again. Some VR thoughts & Info.
The $20 discount from Survios for owning the digital Creed PSVR game issues were rectified and applied. They're still working on the physical copy discounts last I heard. That's fine with me since I have the physical copy and will gladly wait.
No Man's Sky
I can confirm that there is a slight resolution and draw distance bumps in the last 2 updates to the game but, the game still struggles maintaining frame speed and resolution is still the weakest of all the games visually. It's not terrible but Hello Games still needs to work on it. Traveling thru space or over a planet feels fantastic and still a great game to combine both flat and VR for your adventure. Experiencing your worlds with a sense of scale to your surroundings is also a major level of immersion I love.
GT7
I could only wish I was more of a racing genre fan. I can say for certainty, this game gives me zero vr sickness ever. It made me wonder why. Apparently, many have also noticed this so I wasn't surprised to see that a recent CNET article came out regarding why GT7 & VR work so well together and how the majority of players are loving the experiences. With the right setup, wheel/ chair you're in for an amazing treat.
Kyak VR
I have gotten much better at the rowing mechanics in this game. One time I felt quizzy was when I was out in Norway at night and with the waves and the boat rocking, well.....
This is more of a mood /experience event when I feel like I want one to enjoy. Still have plenty more to experience. The devs have promised updates that will include open world and water rapids.
Horizon
I stop playing after a few hiccups and bug encounters. The updates supposedly addresses some of the issues I remember however, I can say that I wasn't feeling the story or characters. I wasn't minding the climbing or combat but I do feel the game play mechanics seems dumbed down somewhat if you know what I mean. I'm going to replay it from start again since its been awhile and I ended at 30%.
Haven't even touched RE8 besides the Demo. This game will need to be scheduled at a later time for me to be involved with fully. Want to first focus on Horizon.
For those wondering about a single-player combat shooter such as CROSSFIRE: Sierra Squad, some of the news sounds very promising.
The game features a single-player campaign with over 60 missions, and will feature 39 types of weapons, from pistols and rifles, to throwables like grenades. Players can use these weapons to fight against 17 different types of enemies, as well as artillery like helicopters and LAVs.

CROSSFIRE: Sierra Squad is an arcade shooter, but you've also added a realism mode. How does this change and enhance the experience?
Lee: As an arcade shooter, CFSS gives players some leeway, such as being able to take a few shots and not die. However, in realism mode, players and enemies die much more easily. Features that assist players such as the HUD, remaining bullet count UI, enemy location mark, enemy HP, etc. are not displayed. In contrast to the normal mode where players can absorb multiple shots, in realism mode, they will experience more strategic battles involving covering, searching and carefully engaging. Our goal is to provide a unique experience rather than just a more difficult mode.

Re: PS VR
Very interested in hearing more about Low-Fi coming out later this year.
This is a completely non-linear world. You can patrol the skies handing out tickets, hang out in the arcade and play games, or try your luck at the casino. How earn and spend your credits is entirely up to you. There are tons of upgrades to purchase, from weapon upgrades, to toys for your companions.
IGN
"In LOW-FI, You're the sheriff of cityblock 303, a retro-futuristic cyberpunk slum where the only inhabitants of note are other "low-fi"."

Re: PS VR
The PCVR 'hit' Hubris is coming this May but without an exact date yet.
Learn how haptics, adaptive triggers, foveated rendering, and more PS VR2 features deepen the immersion.
What is Hubris?
Hubris is a VR action-adventure game set in a unique and colorful sci-fi universe, with immersive movement options, including swimming, climbing, and jumping. Players will have to gather resources, craft food and upgrade their weapons to fight off alien wildlife, droids, and humanoid enemies.
PSVR2 game will have haptic feedback features;
Prepare for an even more immersive gameplay experience thanks to the advanced DualSense controller haptics. You’ll feel every action in the game, with feedback provided through both the controllers and headset. From swimming to shooting, every action has been customized with haptic feedback. Moreover, we’ve adjusted the weight of the guns to simulate an impactful feel, and the triggers adapt to the specifications of each weapon. The adaptive triggers have allowed us to significantly improve the precision of triggering alternative fire modes for both the shotgun and harpoon gun, making shooting guided missiles feel even more responsive.
In addition, we have revamped the gun reloading mechanism and enhanced the aiming and iron sights of all the weapons.
The game looked and played beautifully on pcvr which will apply even better on PSVR2;
The inclusion of foveated rendering is a significant enhancement for our game, which features complex and expansive scenes. This cutting-edge technology allows for a sharper resolution than anything previously achieved. The game’s textures and models are now several times clearer, while the frame rate remains stable.

Re: PS VR
I must have the worst luck. So I have had my psvr2 headset sense day 1 had like zero issues but all of a sudden it stopped working today. The light will stay white for a few seconds than goes red and says I am disconnected. I swear I have the worse issues with tech. Not just this now not working but my launch PS5 was basically a lemon has it would basically freeze/shut it's self of/kick me back to the main menu ever time for like the first 2 weeks before I was able to exchange it for a new one. Had a PS3 that got YLOD after only about 2.5 years. Had 2 GameCubes that stopped reading disc. Had a Wii that wouldn't connect controllers any more and didn't even play Wii much has I really only got it for Zelda SS and DK returns.Comment

Check the front of the headset where your cable connects to it. It's been a common issue with the PSVR2 headset that the cable can separate pending our play style moments....lol.
If loose, all you need to do is to push it further in so the cable is secure in its fitting.Comment

Re: PS VR
I tried that and didn't fix the issue and tried to even take it out and push it back in still having issues. Spent like all day on Google and reddit and such and couldn't find any way to fix it. I also after a while saw something about it could be a overheating issue. I really don't get how it could be a overheating thing when I had zero issues when I played on Friday and when it wasn't more than like 20 seconds today when I went to play without it lossing connect or light going red and such. Seems like I can't get a console and not have to go threw only 1. Almost surprised my switch still works after 6 years with my luck and has a result I have had to spend a lot of extra money over the years. I guess with this at least it's still in the warranty period. I almost thought about buying a extra PS3 years ago just in case it breaks has now it may be hard to find one that don't charge a arm and a leg. But yeah it's looking like I am going to have to call Sony tomorrow.Comment

Re: PS VR
while that sucks will be without psvr2 for around a month maybe a little bit longer. Really wish they had been sold in store and not just playstation direct in USA so I didnt have to deal with this crap. If they had been sold at like Best Buy I could just take my now broken vr headset back to the store and get a exchange. Got to wait like 10 days just to get a box to send it back in from sony. Figures my luck.Comment

Re: PS VR
Red Matter 2 is getting high marks from everywhere regarding it's visuals as best seen thus far on the headset.. This dev team is a proven talent.
Remarkably, native 120fps support makes exploration feel incredibly smooth; there’s no 120Hz reprojection here like you see in Resident Evil Village and Gran Turismo 7, where 60fps is reprojected up to 120Hz in headset. This is true native 120 frames per second, working alongside eye-tracked foveated rendering for a stunning final result.
Red Matter 2 lands on PSVR 2 this week, offering a definitive version of this VR sci-fi adventure. Here are our impressions:
