Honestly, not really a surprise. Switch is still "hot" and two months after Zelda and with no other game truly worth buying for the console, MK8D was guaranteed to be number one in April. Only other game worth mentioning would be Persona 5 but that's a niche title. The true test for Switch will be in Sept to Dec.

For sure. MK8D is a must own for any Switch owner, more than Zelda IMO. Casual gamers love MK. Great for parties/families.

Arms looks interesting, i'll have to try it out, would be a fun party game but we don't use those that often. If my wife loved it then that'd give it more of a shot.

If ARMS had a story mode like Punch Out, I would get it.

I get the feeling it's basically tournaments or 1v1. I don't really care for that.

The recent media preview event + Direct have had good buzz, seems a lot of people think Arms will be great.

Glad there will be essentially a demo to try since I'm on the fence about it

There are specific times that it can be played. When you go to download the demo the times are listed in the info page. I am also glad to be able to try it out. Although I think it would be great fun with my son so I'll probably get it either way.

Yeah, until my son's older the "party" aspect isn't enough for me. I'd need a fun single player.

Look at Injustice 2...not a fighting game fan really, but that sounds like it has a really fun single player mode, at least something deep to play and enjoy.

Splatoon will have single player


and in some way arms is kinda like the new street fighter naruto mash up with a big nod to pounch out




at least the basketball dunking and shooting 3pointers outta ya opponents looks fun!

Zelda and MK8D have made me realize even more that top end graphics aren't the end all be all. Sure, they look great on the other systems, but if you design pretty games on Switch they'll be crazy fun. Every game doesn't have to be photo realistic

I bought a second pair of joy cons the other day. Got the colored ones. They look awesome. However when purchasing the plastic grip i had no idea there was more than one option. I grabbed the comfort grip and I hate it. Its very hard to use the triggers because of the grip design. Anyone else have this issue?

I know some folks in here had problems with the Switch switching their TV over to the input it is on even when you didn't want it to. Well a fix is coming..

I played it at a switch event last month and it's really fun. I'm thinking about buying it when it's released.

Not that it should be a surprise, but FIFA is listed as "EA SPORTS™ FIFA on the Nintendo Switch" rather than simply FIFA 18 on the EA PLAY lineup.

I was really hoping when Super Mega Baseball 2 announced their release date, they would announce a Switch version. Sadly no. It would be a great fit on this platform! And still I wait for a game that makes me buy the Switch . . .
