True, this time next year it will be very clear what third party support will look like, if that's a concern at all. It isn't for most who've bought it up to this point.

We'll see what E3 brings.

Yeah, this is too cool for family (Zelda for me, Mario Kart for wife, maybe get her into other games...kids eventually like it). Otherwise I'd probably be more likely to hold off if I wanted Madden and things. I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing (probably a ways off) and some RPGs and games. E3 should announce some surprise games I bet.

Is the Switch worth it? I'm not a Zelda person nor Mario Kart (I might be able to get into it). Just saying I can possible pick it up soon, but I want to know will there be games for it. I know NBA 2k18, but how about Madden and shooters. I like the portable aspect, but don't want to be stuck only being able to get First party games. Not looking for graphics, I got a PS4 Pro and a One S for that.

Based on that no. I hightly doubt many big shooters will come to the switch, but its possible. Wait a while and see if more games come out. There are going to be a lot of good indiesif that is something that entices you.

The "Im not a Zelda person" comment doesn't apply to Breath of the wild.


its NOT a typical Zelda game. yes it shares a lot of the lore and mechanics but the way you play is all your own making it very much your own adventure game

So if you add a microSD card to the Switch, can you move downloaded games to it? Or should I get a microSD card before downloading any games?

My wife snagged the Pro controller for me today for my birthday. I used it for a couple hours playing Zelda and it honestly might be my favorite controller I've ever used. It's so damn comfortable. I played a little Destiny on the PS4 after she wanted to play Zelda for a bit and despite how much I love the DS4, I couldn't help but wish I could use the Pro Switch controller for all of my consoles.

Yep, that's the protector many of us here use. It's great and super easy to apply.

Thanks! any great cases too I guess? I don't travel much, but we are going to LA in a week, so I'd be bringing it along....I'm seeing a lot of smaller ones for under 15 bucks that would do the trick, any additional accessories can go in a backpack, more just concerned about Switch getting dinged or whatnot

This thing is so light. You don't really realize it until you hold it. So used to iPads and other tablets being heavier.

Have to get Zelda from Best Buy sometime (have some credit and GCU)...Mario Kart was fun the bit I've played.

The native docking is awesome too...it all just works.

I really like the case I have. It has straps to hold the system tight but you don't have to use them. Because it makes it hard to get the thing out. But it is a good size and can hold your charging cable and a usb plug in to charge it. I also can fit a portable charger in its extra space as well. $17.
