Yup. If Nintendo could get it together online wise and as a result my BOTW/mk8 saves carried over as well as all my VC games I'd purchase the next switch I saw.

Having fun with the switch. Zelda is great and my gf and i have been going through the 1/2 switch games. Really cheesy but its an ok party game, nothing like Wii Sports though. Any news on a new Mario Party?

So the nintendo network id was limited on WiiU/3DS...the account was tied to the console (you had to call them to use it on another console) and purchases did not tie to the account, but rather to the console as well.

The nintendo account used on the switch now is more of a network based account that can be used on multiple systems and purchases are tied to it.

I don't know if there was a limitation to how the NNID were set up to change them to more of a network based id or if making changes made them entirely have to overhaul how it works on 3DS/WiiU, but you can link the NNID to your nintendo account on nintendo's website to keep them together in a sense. That way you share the same wallet funds and rewards.

It was very confusing last night when I was trying to login. I went back to my 3DS and verified I had the correct email/password, and yep, it worked. Only later did I see the little text/warning that said it was different than the Network Id. Seems it's far more difficult than it should be. With Playstation I use the same id for PS3, PS4, and the PS Vita. Would think Nintendo would be the same.

Lets not go crazy now. I'd pay $20 for it but not much more. Happy its on the Switch.

Glad to see I was wrong about the Switch. I thought I would have no games other than Zelda but I'll have 4 once Playgrounds comes out.

Pretty sure my Switch is gonna have to be replaced. After it sitting on the charger for much of the weekend I turn it on this morning to about 20% charge. Sat it on the charger from 11 AM - 4:30 PM while at work and i'm at 11%. Dog on thing won't charge.

Early reports on the net is the charger has to be replaced but i'm not gonna chance it. I'm gonna return the whole thing and get another one.

Have you tried turning the power totally off and back on?

I would do the same and return it for a new one. Good luck

Now online for NBA playgrounds is not at launch and will patchedbin later basically they got the game out barely on switch which now worries me about the quality of the switch version? Will it be 60fps? 1080p docked?

I mean the game beta gameplay on PS4 went beyond my expectations where now I just want to play it on the best platform

If I know ppl are getting a better experience on PS4 that's where I'll get it on

I think you're probably just gonna want to buy titles on switch if you want to play them mobile. As far as games that release on all platforms go.

I'm on work travel so I brought my Switch with me. It's kind of funny having it propped up with its kickstand and me playing on that small screen with my Pro Controller, but it works.

Best way to,play. I'm not a fan of the connected controllers. Don't understand why they didn't make them more ergonomical.

Turns out my Switch charges just fine via USB C and the dock. The day I discovered it wasn't charging at work I took it home and docked it. It charged to 100%. Then a day later I decided to try it from the power adapter straight to the Switch and it began to charge immediately.

Seems like the outlets at my job aren't capable of charging the Switch. I tried 4 different outlets which none gave me any signal of charging.

Either way i'm happy it charges and I don't have to go hunting for another one again. But I am going to be buying an additional warranty for this thing.

Mario Kart is on it's way from gamefly!

I didn't want buy it because I already own it on WiiU.

To anyone with both, how much better is it on Switch vs. WiiU?
