You're somewhat battling an area where these games were never in Nintendo's strike zone so to speak. I do think it'll be better over time, but not sure I'd hold my breath about the baseball game. Golf you'll probably get a more arcade type game vs. Golf Club unless they port to Switch (which would rock).

I'm reading a lot of developers talking about maybe bringing games to the switch, but not much in the immediate pipeline that I'm excited about.

I don't even need (or want) much in the ways of simulations. I prefer Playgrounds to NBA 2k18. I'd be happy with a Super Mega Baseball and a Hot Shots golf styled game. Atari classics on Switch would be awesome too.

If some of those kinds of games come over, then I'm on board. For now I think I'm better off with maybe a GPD XD for portable gaming.

I am in a similar spot to you. If you don't need to have cutting edge graphics, you might want to consider a PS Vita. You can get your baseball (The Show 15) and football (Madden 13), you can get it reasonably cheap, and (if you have a PS4) there is the advantage of remote play. Personally, I cannot move from the Vita to the Switch unless/until the sports options (baseball/football/hockey) are there.

Is Splatoon 2 capable of playing local multiplayer? Other than Mario Kart I'd like to get at least one or two more games we can play couch multiplayer with. The gameplay looks awesome and interests me greatly, but if it has couch co-op it would just be a no brainer right now for us.

What co-op games are you guys enjoying so far?

Waiting a month to play this thing is going to be killer.

I've been looking at some indie games to add to the system on Christmas. Overcooked and Snipperclips look like fun co-op experiences. Is Snipperclips worth the $20-30 tag?

Anybody have any impressions for Human Resource Machine? It looks like a fun game and should be right up Ashleigh's alley since she's been taking programming this semester.

Overcooked is great.

Snipperclips recently got a pretty big DLC update and I believe along with the base game, it's a a good deal.

Such a great game. It'll keep you busy for a while.

I finished Mario + Rabbids last week. Really enjoyed it. The game is tough in certain areas, that's for sure. The story kind of fell flat towards the later stages, but still, the gameplay was really well done and carried the day. I spent close to 50 hours it's this game.
