Thing is now Zelda amiibo are going for ridiculous prices on ebay and if anyone knows how cool those amiibo are in BoTW they are a must have for Zelda fans now

That's the sad thing.

I never used Amiibo before (didn't really have much space to display them like I want to) but after clearing shelf space off (to at least have a spot until we move) I've picked up a ton of them.

The only Zelda ones I'm missing are Sheik and Ganondorf (both of which I think look real nice and want, but not paying 50-60 for an Amiibo) and the standalone Toon Link which I will pick up at some point.

So since buying the switch these have all been added (mostly for 10-12 bucks.)

For Zelda specifically? Gives you a bit of junk for the most part.

I'm just a person that loves little figures and never had any space for them.

Compared to the competition it is overpriced. Its competition is other consoles, and hand held game systems not tablets. You can buy an Xbox One which does 4K UHD player for less.

Now to me, it's overpriced in the sense it needs a bit more offered to get it to be worth $299. A bundled game that's desirable would probably get me there, although lets be honest, pound for pound it's still not on the same level as an Xbox One or a PS4.

Also, for me it's overpriced because the portability isn't something I desire. That's just me though, that may offer a lot of value for other folks.



That is the sensible thing to do and what I'd like to do but once Mario Kart drops I'll probably buy one despite the fact that it makes no sense and I'm putting myself out there to be burned yet again, LOL

As one that has stated that I don't give a crap out portability and sing it as a tablet, I'm sitting here in Chicago with the Switch and not my XB1 because it could come with me.

It's a feature no matter how you look at it. There is no harm in not valuing it, but it is not fair to blow off just how how portable it is. It's kind of amazing.

If it had a baseball game, Id be in heaven.

Yeah, for me just sports games in general will put the switch's portability as a game changer. Can't wait for some sports games

I have like 10 of the Zelda specific ones...


we're talking whole Link outfits from the original Zelda,ocarina of time,wind waker and twilight princess! AND theyre drawn to be within the artstyle of the game not just painted on.


Ontop of that early access to better weapons and a ton of food.


Also it resets everyday so everyday you could have stuff drop. even though clothing goes by three pieces and they drop daily MAYBE (very bad drop rates luck of draw keep trying is the motto)hat,tunic ,trousers...

but sheikds going for like 70 at bid wars on ebay now and I tried haggling a guy down to maybe say 40 with shipping but his make an offer price was countered with 70!!!




Sheik's mask is what unlocks in botw and n game its sweet and prob helps a ton with stealth...


Zelda doesn't do much and ganon give you the biggorn sword which has a new animation attached to it


man Nintendo REALLY thought about a lot with everything




This game to me is my World of warcraft

The wolf Link amiibo is great for hunting. I bought that one and and then the BotW Zelda, Link, and Rider ones.

I picked up super bomberman R. And then got blastermaster zero

I would never get a game like bomberman on the PS4. But the switch changes all that
And let me tell you 8 bit looks ok docked but in handheld? 8 bit is transformed on
Switch

This system is just fun.

Has anyone had problems with their Pro Controller de-syncing on them? Mine has done it 3 times. Once the second night I had the Switch, and then two times last night. Both time last night I was activated amiibos in Zelda, but the time a week ago I was just regularly playing. Luckily last night I wasn't in the middle of battle so it was only frustrating, not deadly for Link! It takes the game system about 5 seconds to realize that the controller is gone before prompting to reconnect.

I think there's a sensor in the switch so the games recognize Amibo and give you benefits in the game. Basically just a way to sell collectibles that do something I believe.

You touch a piece of plastic up to a sensor. Things drop in the game. As for Zelda I have smash link which gave me Epona on first tap. Now it gives me items daily. Apples, meat a chest etc.
