Let me end this because it seems this is a great way to disway anything positive I have to say about the system.


this is refers to me and my comments about horizon zero dawns female protagonist.

what i meant was I was going to end the explanation about why i wont play Horizon Zero dawn because he uses that as a way to refute anything i say.

You're missing the entire point, you can't dictate to others that they can't comment on the system simply because they don't have it, point blank. You not only said it once but then followed up with it by saying you "stand by it 100%", again, that's not your call to make.

I think he was saying that in a somewhat joking manner.

There are legitimate reasons to dislike the Switch, and reasons that people can use to justify not getting one. That's their choice.

You don't have to defend Nintendo or take anything anyone says personally. Trust me, I got called a fanboy in both the XBOne (called a PS4 fanboy) and PS4 (called an XBOne fanboy) threads because I have a contrary opinion at times (especially when it came to the Kinect stuff for the XBox.)

The only thing that matters is that you are happy with your purchase. If not, take it back. You don't need to continually justify things to anyone else. I love my Switch, it's by far my favorite console in a long time (and will be near the top of the all-time list if Nintendo can get - and keep - support... But there are things that Nintendo really needs to fix about it as well and drawbacks that are design choices that Nintendo cannot fix about it. It won't be for everyone. Same goes for their games.

Just relax, post news/updates/thoughts and have civilized discussions. That goes for everyone not only in this thread, but on this site.

Going back ON topic what other games would you suggest ?

How is Setsuna on switch?

When do you guys think we will start getting E3 rumors? I think E3 this year is really big with switch being out and there being like zero games in till splatoon 2 and no big games in till Mario. But if Nintendo where to show off a few good games at E3 for this year or for early 2018 that would be big.

First things first. they bought the floor. They will be on hand and i think they even reveserved a conference room this time. the way the switch has been promted i dont think they wanted to lose the chance to have a serious pre conference again

a direct will jut not suffice anymore..

If Metroid is coming out they have to reveal it.

Usually after a e3 reveal a game takes about 2 to 3 yrs to come out unless its a surprse like fallout 4

Nintendo showing metroid would bring it back to them showing zelda 3 years ago and would show us that its finally coming

if they dont show metroid Id fear the worst for that franchise

Animal crossing for switch would be huge but it would be a nintendo iP

another awesoem biut of news would be that xenoblade IS coming out this year.

That would tip my lid

Although imagine they do a full on gamecube library backwards compat?

For Shovel Knight (I forgot to do a PSA on this before, if someone in here didn't...) Specter of Torment is included in Treasure Trove. Specter of Torment is just a standalone expansion - so if you want the full game and expansion get Treasure Trove. Nintendo/the publisher is really dumb about how it got put up on the store. I haven't played Shovel Knight at all, but have heard it's good, especially if you like those type of games. Was debating on picking it up, but now that Isaac will be here soon I'm just gonna wait.

Bomberman is utter crap from all accounts I've seen, which is a shame.

Setsuna probably runs just fine, it just seems unoriginal and repetitive. This game is the one I've heard the most mixed about from that list. Some people love it, some people hate it.

Out of those 3 games I'd easily suggest Shovel Knight.

I've got a gray switch, but wasn't satisfied with that, so I'll be picking up a Neon tomorrow as well. Lol.

I still haven't cracked it open yet, but looking forward to this weekend. I'll have some free time

I highly suggest the charging grip if you can find it.

Having two sets of joycons is key for me

I'm not one for the detach thing so i have it docked WITH the neon joy cons thena charging grip with the grey joycons

and of course a pro controller

which coincedentaly works with ps4 kontrolfreeks thumbsticks almost decent exact size match

Yep, just bought the charging grip and Pro Controller via walmart with local pickup tomorrow. I'll be set this weekend. Looking forward to it. Now I'm just trying to figure out which system goes to the kids, and which I keep.

I honestly believe that Nintendo will reveal a game at E3 that we haven't seen yet that will be available with Mario at Holiday season. Something they've been working on behinds the scenes and under wraps.

I'm leaning Pokémon with Metroid as a dark horse. Going into holiday with hopefully a strong 8 months of sales with Mario and another A+ title would just help them crush the holiday season.

Also, I'm really happy with my Switch purchase last week. Brought it with me to a conference I'm attending in Chicago thru the weekend.

Yeah I think they need to show a game having just a game you can already get on wii u for the systems first like 7 months or so before Mario comes out is not good. If not for Mario this would be like the worst launch lineup ever and not ever game has to be shown like a year or 2 before it comes out. Me I am hoping they show a new 3d DK game or a new IP from retro studios and that it will come out some time this year.

I don't have the switch (have Wii U though), but I have seen a strange trend of people tasting the game cartridges! Has anyone tried this out of curiousity?
