One of my good friends finally got a switch this morning before work. If he didn't go and get there just before BB opened I don't think he would have been able to get one as it is still almost impossible to get a switch any where around where I live. In fact this is the first I have heard of it being in stock at all. He got Zelda of course and he may get Mario kart later he never had a wii u. Glade he was finally able to get one and will be interesting to see how he goes about Zelda because there are so many different ways you can go about that game when it comes to what order to like do things.

Mario Kart 8 looks and plays amazingly better than I remember it on Wii U.

Got my Switch in a couple days ago & been playing Zelda. Not that impressed with the switch. It's smaller than my ipad mini, the resolution is less/smaller, and it feels less powerful with fewer options as a pure tablet. I purchased a controller add-on for my iPad so I could play an Assassins Creed game, so both have basically the same capabilities as a hand held gaming unit.

IMHO Apple needs to buy nintendo. Convergence is happening and Apple lacks a gaming unit unlike Microsoft/windows platform. Having Nintendo on the iPad would go a long ways towards justifying Apples higher purchase cost. Nintendo consoles lack the features other gaming consoles bring and that Apple could provide. Apple + Nintendo would be the perfect union. The best of both worlds (tablet/computer & gaming).

Just got my 7 year old girl involved today and she loves it. Of course she has the auto steering and acceleration on. Love that Nintendo included that in this version, it really gives smaller kids a chance to play. My 4 year does the same thing. I need to try to ween them off the auto driving but as long as they are having a good time I don't care.
