Nintendo Switch Discussion

My 18 year old son and I have never played the Switch more than we have over the last few days. We both picked up Animal Crossing and it has consumed our lives! Seriously, it starts slow but then there is just so much to do. It’s such a chill game and at the same time a little stressful when you’re needing certain items and you’re running low. We’ll both be playing this for a very long time. Nintendo knocked it out of the park.

I hope so, too. Glad to see Sunshine included as part of the games mentioned; most overlooked Mario game in the franchise.

Might be getting closer to me putting away all my retro stuff and PC stuff to play the classics.. IF price is right for these remasters.

I was wondering the same thing. We have one at the firehouse and it got accidentally broke last night when a call came in. If anyone has any inside scoop on a switch, please hit me up. We just use the basic model to hook up to our big screen. Thanks so much!

So it’s crazy. I had the switch when it first came out sold it cuz I wasn’t really playing it. Brought it again didn’t really play as much till super smash. Played it but then stop but u know what game got me hook to the point the switch is dying on me because I’m playing it so much. Animal crossing lol lol. I’m 35 year old man loving this game. And due to the pandemic and I was sick before I been home playing video games. I love it. I want to get Witcher 3. I want to get the cooking momma game but Nintendo took it off for some reason. Def going to get those fighting games the os guy recommend.

There a spot in nyc that has them 500 and it comes with animal crossing. Jnl game is the store they have website u can order.

Took me about 10 minutes of trying to get one the other day on the BestBuy website but I finally got an order through. Looking forward to trying this out.

Super Mega Baseball 3 is getting ready to release soon. You can pick up SMB2 now.

R.B.I. Baseball 20 is decent for $30.

NBA 2K games have been pretty good overall on the Switch, same with FIFA.

Is there any sports games that are worth it on the Switch?

The only thing that is keeping me from moving on from my Vita. As DJ said, SMB 3 will be coming soon, so I am excited by that. But I don't do basketball or soccer (which is also available, by the way). If and when the Switch gets a solid football (Mutant League Football, I believe, is available) and/or hockey game, I'm in!

I'm kind of limited on the amount of initial games I'm getting but I was thinking more so in the future. Hopefully we can get MLB:TS 21 on the Switch.

Looks like one of our Switches died. Just no longer turns on, has been plugged in for a couple days, multiple chargers / docks.

I've done all the troubleshooting, maybe I can send it along w/ the 5 joycons we have drift issues with.

This is the worst hardware experience we've had since RROD.

If the Switch had a competent sim football game and a wrestling game...... I'd be ready to trade in my PS3 and PS4.
