I swear sometimes it feels like we’re being driven to purchase digital. Every time I go to buy a game it’s never available nearby. And I live just outside of Charlotte which is not the boonies lol

Really? I haven't had too much trouble finding a physical version of a game if I choose to go that direction. I've moved to mostly digital for ease of switching between games.

I had started that direction before on other consoles but wanted to get physicals on Switch because I know I impulse buy sometimes and at least I can get something back lol

So when is Nintendo going to announce first party titles for the holidays? Wasn't there supposed to be a couple Mario games coming? I wonder if covid really slowed them down.

The Mario 64 remake is getting quite the few leaks. Wonder if they are purposely delaying some announcements out of being annoyed, lol.

How I feel about Call of Duty not announcing their new game yet.

I must say that since making the decision to play games on whatever difficulty they're on during first boot (default difficulty) my gaming has been very different lately... in a good way!

I'm probably crazy....trying to resolder my r-button on my right joy con. The pads got junked though, it fell right off when taking apart, so need to do some tiny wires. I think I can do it though, the part isn't insane and now i'll have a soldering iron and stuff so fingers crossed. Thankfully I have a youtube doing it, and if I jack it up then I just have parts in case i get drift on something else and out a few bucks on the button. I can write off having the soldering iron cause it was only 15 bucks and i can reuse.

Ive played the last 3 or 4 Fire Emblem games and have really enjoyed them but for some reason it took a while to finally start playing 3 houses and damn it is such a good game. Fire Emblem is really an underrated series.

I've tried to play this game twice and can't seem to make it past 10-15 hours. A bit too much time at the monestary for me. I'm sure the game opens up once you venture out.

Don't know if it deserves its own thread but Nintendo announced a 3D All-Stars edition today that will include Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy all in one pack for the Switch to celebrate 35 years of Mario. It releases 9/18 and is already up for preorder on Amazon, Best Buy and Target last I checked.

They claim a limited release and will only be available in the Nintendo shop through March.

Don't know if it deserves its own thread but Nintendo announced a 3D All-Stars edition today that will include Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy all in one pack for the Switch to celebrate 35 years of Mario. It releases 9/18 and is already up for preorder on Amazon, Best Buy and Target last I checked.

They claim a limited release and will only be available in the Nintendo shop through March.

This sounds awesome, but I doubt I can get it without my wife making a fuss. I think some of it is a generational thing, but my 7 year old acts like he doesn't have games to play and he has a boat load of games he has barely played. He's barely touched Luigi's Mansion, Mario Odyssey, Crash, Spyro, Donkey Kong, etc.. but his friend has a Kirby game and he wants it. My wife and I told him he needs to wait until after Christmas for anything new.

The game he has played the most to his credit is Breath of the Wild. At his age he's still learning to read better so he doesn't know about everything that's going on, but he really likes it. He also plays a lot of Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons.
