Like I have said numerous times.....Nintendo is completely rushing out this console. Won't be surprised at all if they screw it all up.

With that said, if I can purchase one on launch day at Best Buy, I'll definitely buy it just so I know that I own it. If that happens, I'll purchase the pro controller and then Zelda in the summer which is probably when I would actually get around to playing the game.

So I may not be able to get my switch in till Monday. I have to work both Friday and sat next week so I will not be home to get my system and even stuff that does not cost a lot I have to be home for being that I am in a apartment they don't just leave it. Then of course Sunday mail don't run. Monday I have school only to like 12:20ish and it looks like mail comes around 4pm were I live. I also have a history test the week after that and one other test to. So I am most likely not going to be able to get the switch in till Monday after it comes out and may not have a lot of time to play after that for a few days. I was looking to see if I could maybe do a store pickup but doesn't look like I can change to that with my per order.

This is really not good. Not sure if this can be patched.

Edit- definitely a hardware issue. I'm out. This system needs to go back in the oven for 6 months.

Good thing the pro controller can be bought easily anywhere!

That issue is huge. I'm not sure a firmware update can fix it. How does it make it to store shelves like that?

I'm so torn. My son loves his Wii U and I pre ordered one of these expecting at least another title which he could play (he is 7). Zelda would be too much for him. Do I give my pre order to someone else or do I over pay for 1-2 Switch so he has something to hold him over until splatoon. Decisions..

I decided to just get Zelda for the Wii U. Can't be that different and if it ends up being a great game, I'll play it again when Switch has more games.

This is the other thing that pisses me off. If my Wii U dies I'm just SOL with all my VC purchases? It's absurd.

I do not understand why Nintendo doesn't allow people with Wii U and 3DS VC purchases carry those over to the Switch. It's good that they are fixing this issue with the Switch tying purchases to your Nintendo account, but still sucks.

This joycon issue is just strange that they would not of noticed it during testing. Being a week away, I am still on the fence. Zelda looks fantastic and what I wanted out of a Zelda game, but this "soft" launch is something that Nintendo should of waited till even June at the earliest to get more software out there and work out the kinks of this system.

Nintendo is going to have to replace 2 million+ joycons if FW is not going to fix this, what a way to toss money out the window on their part.

I totally get the disappointment with the launch line up. But the Switch is going to be my secondary console to the PS4 and Xbox One. So, for that matter I have too many games to play at the moment. Zelda will almost surely last until Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon 2. By that time, more games will be out. Looking forward to Sonic and Mario Odyssey as well.

Spike teased what looks to be an announcement of a new Fire Pro Wrestling project. Possibly on 3/2 at some gaming conference in San Francisco. Some are speculating a Switch release. Could my dream of Fire Pro Wrestling on Switch become a reality?
