Doubt it, it's published by Nintendo. I thought it was a mobile game at first, it looks like they've made it much "smaller", like the view was cut down, I'm assuming for weaker hardware.

I really hope not. I don’t want devs releasing games on the weakest console first to become a thing moving forward. That just screams of trapping people into a double dip to me.

Completely missed it's being published by Nintendo.

Oh well. Hopefully it's good. I like the new view overall, but felt it was weaker during the Wolverine segments of the trailer.

For anyone who might be confused about Persona 5's Joker's presence in Smash Ultimate (which was announced as upcoming DLC last night).....he's already made an appearance on a Nintendo platform, just not on this side of the Pacific Ocean. Persona Q2, a 3DS sequel spinoff-of-a-spinoff, released in Japan about a week ago and Joker with the rest of the P5 cast are among its characters.

So, just as Cloud has a presence on a Nintendo platform through Theatrhythm and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, so too does Joker. I don't think this is any kind of indicator of P5 getting ported to the Switch.

I do feel like this is the precursor to an announcement of PQ2 coming west, though.

All that aside....they really will put just about ANYONE into Smash now. "Never saw it comiiiiiiing" indeed.

This is really my first SSB game and I’m really enjoying it. I won’t probably ever go online but that’s ok. There’s a ton of single player love. I’m actually really surprised how much there is to do. Game looks and plays fantastic!

I finished up Captain Toad this afternoon completing everything except for the Challenge Times on the boss levels at the end of each episode.

Now I have the bonus levels to go through (already went through the first time - man I forgot how great the music was in Mario Odyssey), but I'm kind of bummed I'm at the end. It's a great little puzzle-platform game - whether you do one or two levels a day or blow through an episode in a couple hours its a nice change of pace.

Initially, I was somewhat disappointed because I expected it to be more of a smaller, platformer, but once I accepted the game for what it was I really enjoyed. The difficulty progression is paced very well. Some of the levels are tough, but I enjoyed them all for various reasons. A couple of redundant levels (ie: boss fights), but overall the sheer amount of levels and how different each one is great.

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good puzzle game.

I have yet to have that issue since release. I do get the "disconnected" (I think that's what it says) while playing and game freezes. Sometimes it's fine sometimes kicks me back to lobby.

Also, recommendations for games? Probably go Smash Bros and Pokemon, although I thought I saw two of them.

Picked up a switch for smash Bros like many have, just wanted to know what are some of your favorite games? I didn't play much of Nintendo growing up so I don't have any sort of nostalgia attached other than to Pokemon which I'll probably grab too.

Super Mario Odyssey is a good one to have, even if you haven't played a lot of Mario games, you'll enjoy this one. Mario Kart 8 is also worth having in the collection.

I'm digital for indie titles. I don't mind.

Hard for me to justify $60 digital. Needs to be a special special game. I'm really glad I didn't make the mistake with Zelda, Mario and Mario + Rabbids. All three good games but eventually I got bored and was able to sell them instead of being stuck.

I bought Smash Bros physical too. I'm enjoying it but I know I'll eventually want to play something else.
