Pretty good direct. Lots of gaming coming out that I want. Nuts we are getting Mario kart 8 dlc. Best thing it’s free if you have the expansion pass.

Just finished watching the direct like a hour ago sense it was on in the middle of a work day. I think I would give it like a 7.5 out of 10.

The bad

No release date for Splatoon 3 only a window
No Zelda BOTW 2
No TMNT shredder's revenge thought it would get a release date guess a Indi direct for that.
No DK is it dead? Been 8 years sense last game.

The good

Mario Kart 8 dlc 48 tracks for only 25 is a nice price and I did not see coming. Does suck that I got to rebuy the game again though for like 50+ that dlc has I already have the game on Wii U but excited though. Kind of makes my Wii U even more worthless lol. Clearly no Mario Kart 9 this gen maybe on switch 2 early days.
Not really into Metriod dread but a really good update a new harder mode and also a newer easy mode like best of both worlds for people and also a boss rush mode solid updates.
New Mario soccer game been a while sense the last one.
Ports of no man sky and portal games didnt see that coming.
Kirby looks amazing didnt think I could be this excited for a Kirby game makes me want a 3d dk game even more.

I’ve got about 5 physical. The other 20+ are digital. Got a 400GB card in my OLED.

Bought my son a V2 for Christmas. He’ll be all physical.

The only games I buy digital are digital only and games Ill never sell. Im probably 90/10 physical over digital.

Re: DK, I think I heard it’s been confirmed that they’re doing another 2D platformer. I was really hoping we’d get a spiritual successor to DK64.
