This is basically my thought process. I can see the differences, but if someone says they can't or don't, then they can't or don't. There's no benefit to lying about it, so there's no real reason to suspect anything's up with it. I'm not in their eyes, they're not in mine; not much more anyone can do beyond that.

I'm not saying you're joking, or anything, I'm just saying that seems a little off.

Can you see the difference between 30/60 FPS on sports streaming content? MLB.TV didn't used to do 60 FPS on PC until just a few years ago, and now they do. Anything on something like that? What about The Hobbit and Gemini Man shooting in 48 FPS instead of 24 FPS as films? Heck, what about when some action flicks do 21 FPS in action scenes versus its 24, nothing?

      Just curious, that's all.

The only difference I’ve noticed with tv is like the ESPN scroll bar at the bottom. 30fps stutters while 60fps is smooth. I don’t notice other differences.

What you describe as "stutter" at 30 FPS IS the lower framerate. You call it that because it's not as visually smooth as 60. There's nothing more to it than that from a visual perspective.

Let's try this....The new NBA2K next-gen clip, some of us have probably seen it by now, right? Watch this, and make sure to set the quality to one of the two 60 FPS settings - either 720p60 or 1080p60. Otherwise this exercise is pointless as the entire thing will play in 30 FPS. Also, move your mouse off of the video while it's playing because, at least on my system, the player likes to drop into 30 FPS mode when the controls are up even when I'm set on a 60 FPS setting.

        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GbOpRPp_vjs" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Pay close attention to the tipoff at 1:20. Up until Green handles the ball and the camera finishes moving (including all through the pregame scenes), the game is running at less than 60 Frames per Second - it's probably 30 FPS although it could be higher. The moment the camera finishes panning back into the new Rail Cam view, the game switches to at least 60 FPS and stays there until the player close-ups after baskets or out-of-play scenes happen. The game becomes instantly more smooth and fluid to my eyes when it goes to 60 FPS after that tipoff.

That's the difference between (at least)60, vs. less than 60.

Edit: The quick shot of the team select screen at the very beginning appears to be 60 FPS too. I can see it when Zion Williamson claps his hands. When the Play Now screen wipe comes on, it's down to 30 (or thereabouts) through the whole pregame until tipoff.

That answers my question. That makes the PS. Plus Collection more appealing that it will receive the Game Boost treatment. There's at least 8 of those games I want to play.

I’m by no means saying there is not a difference, but the only game I noticed any difference was the Diablo 3 clip. Maybe my eyes aren’t as good as they once were at 47.

You don't have to tell him anything. You just accept his opinion and move along.

As much as this is hard for you to believe, nobody gives a **** if their approach or way of video gaming matches yours, or appeases you.

And no one believes that your opinion on any topic is the end all, be all.

Wait. Like literally, what's the difference between the two videos? Lol.

                            30 vs. 60 I can't tell a difference.

From 30 to 120 I wonder if you can? What's it supposed to do?
