Still feel like there's more to learn about BC and the PS5. Especially with news like this on the eve of launch, I expect this will usher in a round of articles covering exceptions per publisher to PS5 BC.

“Most of our back catalogue of games will have backward compatibility between the next and current generation of consoles,” Ubisoft’s statement reads, “with a few exceptions.”

Those exceptions are Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles China, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia, Risk, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Werewolves Within, and Space Junkies — the space-themed VR shooter. Owners of those games for the PS4 will need to keep that console up and around if they want to keep playing.

Update 7:55 p.m.: Ubisoft has pulled the news post from Ubisoft Connect, citing inaccuracies.

A Ubisoft representative told Gematsu in an email: “We have pulled the Ubisoft Connect article and forum post regarding backwards compatibility for the time being as there may be inaccuracies involving the Ubisoft titles that will be playable on PS5.”

Does PS Plus subscriptions stack year over year?

I only had PS Plus once over a 3 month span current gen. I see myself using it a lot this upcoming generation. I bought a year subscription a couple months that I plan on setting up closer to launch on the PS app. I'm debating on buying another year subscription since you can find it on sale for 50% off and have slot stack, so I'll be good for first 2 years.

They stack. If you have 5 months left and buy a year you will have 17 months.

I don't have a console currently. But, am I able to set up the digitial PS Plus subscription via the PS App. I want to set it up the subscription close to console launch

You can set it up, but at this point there is really not a reason to that I can see. Best just to wait until the console comes in and gain the 10 extra days when they’re usable.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning on anyway. With no current console, no point of me rushing to set it up. Even if I get it as early as 11/13, I won't be able to really play with the console until I'm off the following weekend anyway. So I'll wait until I'm certain I will start playing

I’m really hoping to see some advanced reviews for some of these games. Games like Godfall are only PS5 and I don’t know if many reviewers will have a PS5 and that game. Between me and the kids probably picking up 3-4 games at launch bit which ones those may be could depend on reviews.

Godfall review embargo should be no later than next Wednesday, November 11th as it releases the next day. Not sure which version will be reviewed but if I had to guess, I would say PC since it will be the superior version. I'm expecting it to be around an 80 or so on Open Critic.

Any good recommendations on USB Bluetooth adapter/dongle 5.0.
With the 3D Audio, I want to start playing with a wireless earbuds and I remember how PS4 only allowed certain non-Sony wireless sets to work via Bluetooth. Since they mentioned in a blog about using a dongle, I don't think that list expanded

So with tomorrow making a week until ps5 comes out and with maybe reviews for games coming out this Friday does any one have predictions for Metacritic scores for any of the games? I have 2 predictions. Spiderman mm 90 and Godfall 80.
