The way things are looking Sony may make me poor come late this year and into next year lol. Even though we don't know what games are day 1 vs like first 3 months etc its looking like the first year or so is going to be way stronger then most systems have in there first year or so. I have like 5 for sure games already and 3 other games i may get that have been shown and also that don't even include stuff like a new batman game that is rumored for November and maybe rocksteady new SS game now that they announced that even though i am not sure how to fell about SS it is rocksteady.

Those inverted and different environments that affects how a level is played will add so much depth. Really like white environments and having to spin to paint the upcoming obstacles. Definitely will be one of the first games I play on PS5 .

I do feel the Price, Date, and Preorders are holding everything up. Once we know it, that's when they will start promoting the console and games. There's so much that we would have known way more about now. We're about 3 months away and so much we Don't know about. We know so little about the launch games, software features, tech demos. I don't think we leave the month without knowing price, Date, preorder. I see Sept and Oct being mainly about promoting consoles and more in depth gameplay vids

Yeah for being only around 3 months out we still have a lot to be shown, and being around 2-3 months and not having a price or release date is pretty crazy. I really hope we don't have to wait for like september to get a price and release date.

I do feel a lot is being held back from all parties until the price,preorder, and release is revealed. I get the competition aspect and playing chicken. But the 3rd Party Outlets/Market needs an idea of how much stock they need to order, so I would expect us to have that information before September.

I didn't mind holding back at all prior to June. But being that we are just over 3 months out and both constantly saying that they releasing on time, I do want both Sony and Microsoft to ramp it up. I get the pandemic changed everything up and that most of the missing info would have been revealed by now. You can feel that Sony is holding a lot back. We don't much about launch games that were revealed and both probably have launch titles that haven't been revealed. Besides the Tech Demos, I don't believe we seen anything actually running on Series X yet.

I dont remember Returnal. The pathless looks kind cool only the world looks like it may be kind of empty and game might be to repetitive. Oddworld i have never played any of the games in the franchise but i love platforms and this looks like a platform with a lot of stuff going on.

Oh that one ok yeah i remember it now didn't care for it though. Oddworld does look dark like i said never played any of them before i thought there was one a few years ago but i mistake it for something else.

We are also seeing rocksteady's new game on august 22 after we got the announcement the other day that they are doing suicide squad. That may be another game to add to my list has i think its likely to be next gen only. I don't know how to fell about suicide squad game but it is rocksteady and i loved the arkham games.

I would rather have a new innovative controller over one that is basically the same just to be able to use my old controller. Plus the battery is bad on the ps4 controller so I wouldn't wanna have to deal with that for another 5+ years.

I'm curious do you have the light on your controller set to Dim? Uses less battery in that mode. I game sometimes for 9 hours a day and my controller does not run out of power.

I don't but apparently I need to do that. I have 2 controllers so I just swap back and forth. However one of the controllers isn't as good because i smashed it on the ground lol. So I try and keep that one as my netflix/youtube controller.
