Re: Microsoft Reveals the New Xbox Series X, Arrives in Holiday 2020

Honestly, until they announce prices, I could care less. Sure, there are lots of clues and logical reasons to have an idea of what the price will be. But the moment its announced, not a single of those articles matter anymore.

Tell me how much they are, then I will worry about when I buy for next gen.

But I tell you what, I would much rather be Microsoft launching in a pandemic than Sony. There is a fair amount of the next gen convenience coming regardless of your platform of choice.

This could not be a more stress free launch.

after hearing the new ampre gpu prices I am more then confident that

ps5 and series x will be 500 dollars and not a penny more

      ps5 digital will be 400

It comes down to if MS wants to put series x at 400 which I think is a high possibility and series s at 200

After seeing the new cards I might just skip consoles at launch and get a 3080...

$300 is a freaking steal. It will be the best selling next gen SKU this holiday season. Only question is, will it be $100 or $200 cheaper than the PS5 Digital Edition? My money is on $200.

It looks like a speaker haha but if it plays the new flight simulator I’ll buy it.

                The folks @windowscentral reporting:

Series S will cost $299 or $25pm via All Access
Series X will cost $499 or $35pm via All Access

                Both consoles launch November 10.

500$ seems fair considering the specs.

If these prices are correct then that is a strong play to move units regardless of the first party AAA titles being lacking during the launch window, IMO.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Hoping the November 10th release date is wrong and that it's November 6th because I prefer the console releasing on a Friday instead of a Tuesday.

Okay im seriously considering selling my One X now and getting that Series X All Access at $35 a month. Even as a college kid with a part time job, that is definitely more than manageable.

Series S is a very tempting offer for those interested.
                              - Custom NVME SSD (512 GB)
                              - All-digital
                              - 1440p up to 120 FPS
                              - Ray-Tracing support
                              - 4K media playback
                              - 4K game upscaling
                              - Variable rate shading
                              - Variable refresh rate
                              - ultra-low latency

They were forced to confirm after the leak last night. But $299 & $499 were the expected prices for me. November 10 would be a good date. If they can get out before the major November releases, that'll be important. Series S and Gamepass/XCloud is a great combination. You only have to worry about buying 3rd Party games initially. But eventually the major 3rd party games end up on Gamepass within a year or so.

Think about how the series S is the most important piece of tech for MicroSoft this gen.

The series S with the specs it has will allow you to have 1440p 60fps in all games at high settings or even higher FPS.

The PS5 will most likely be $400 and $500 dollars at the same spec but physical and digital. The PS5 CPU is weaker then series S and multiplat games will have an advantage on series S over PS5 in FPS and if SOny decides to lower resolution to match series S FPS it will beat it but then series X advantage will be that much more of an eye soar for SOny.

It is a brilliant console choice

The tech in that console is beyond worth more then 300. The CPU alone is

I honestly feel that the series S was made with the intention of getting Sony fans to buy in. And I see no chance they wont for 300 when they see multi plat games running better (not looking better) on series S
