Nervous as heck thinking about tomorrow. Will be at GameStop at 9a with tablet in hand logged in to Amazon as a backup.

        Stupid question incoming....

I still do not have a 4k TV. I'm contemplating attempting to pre-order a XSX tomorrow. Obviously it's still going to work and I'm still going to see increased performance over the X1X I have now, just wont be playing at 4k, right? The new TV will come in due time; just have a few other priorities first.

You'll be fine...won't see the 4k stuff but you'll be set when you get a new tv

Yeah, you will have increased performance as far as speed and all of the featured of the system. You just won't get 4K or HDR on a 1080p TV.

But the good news I'm pretty sure you will benefit from Super Sampling. Which will make it look better than just outputting 1080p. I think it will give you better anti-aliasing as well.

Also you should theoretically get higher frame rates.

I assume the XSX also allows streaming play too? Like with my 1X I stream it to my laptop alot to play if someone else is watching tv in the room.

I'm getting more nervous by the hour. I really hope this goes smoothly somehow. They have to know that by giving the exact time it just invites bots. They have to have an ace up their sleeve.

Games will still look better just not 4K or HDR, but you’ll get Ray tracing and other nice textures.

I laughed when I read your post because it’s the craziness we’ve come to in order to secure a console lol. Like you I’ll be at Best Buy when they open at 10 and have my phone in hand ready to order online just in case.

Good luck to all of on your choice of console tomorrow. I’m a hardcore PS fanboy, but the Series S has me intrigued. I won’t preorder or pick up at launch, but will look into it the first of the year. I think MS is brilliant with a 299 console. It’s got me looking after turning my nose up at them since back to back RROD’s on brand new 360’s when my kids were little (they’re 20 and 22 now).

GameStop offering $200 credit for the Xbox one x or PS4 pro and you have until November 30th to do so. Not bad. I don’t like GameStop and almost always avoid them but I have 2 Xbox one x and a pro so now I’m thinking lol..

Now I know what I’ll be doing with my Pro. Series X will only cost me $300 plus tax and I can wait up to the release day to turn my Pro in.

I was thinking about FB Marketplace but with the ease of just trading it in for $200 I’ll take it.
