I’ll also say this. I’m not expecting any games to really be at native 4k 120fps yet. For my pc yes I expect the higher FPS but it’s also a lot more expensive. For me at least if these console games are native 4k and locked 60fps with high to ultra settings I’m more than content.

Look at the ps5 not supporting 1440p and now they’re saying it might get patched in. Just give it some time..

Sony said if there is demand for 1440p which they have never offered they would think about it.

When xbox one/ xbox one x both had 1440p 120hz working it cannot be just, ohh well when their new more expensive machine has it not working right. We cannot just be about they will fix it. They are not even aware of the issue because most do not have a 120hz tv

Hey Gamer, I was checking on AVS forums and they’re saying the issue is 120 with VRR. Some are saying to fix the issue for now rename the tv input to PC and the picture issues went away. The issue has also been brought up to Microsoft.

You are not getting games on consoles at native 4k 60fps with high and ultra settings. no new games at least.

I was under the impression that every original Xbox game was playable. But I guess none of the EA sports games are. That kinda sucks.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t gears 5 4k 60fps and running pc ultra settings? Asking for a friend...

Only certain games are backwards compatible for the original Xbox and 360. I highly doubt sports games will ever be added.

Anything prior to XB1 requires licensing. The manner in which compatibility was achieved required downloading a new version of the code that the disc unlocked for you, invalidating the licenses. Sports games are among the hardest to license, and probably among the least desired. Maybe as a whole, but for each game?

Going forward, that should not be an issue, because now the code is not being altered to run on a different console. You can put any XB1 disc into a Series X, and it plays.

It's why we don't have NFL 2K5 or APF 2K8, either.

just set mine up and direct ethernet - I can confirm under this circumstance the 2k21 for me is about 30min to download which seems about the same as before - maybe a hair faster idk. it was doing 30gigs every 10min it seemed like
