Why is this thing still on a shortage six months later?

There’s a global semiconductor shortage that is affecting nearly everything. That’s probably the main reason.

I would say its a combination of things.

1. Its Sony there consoles are always in high demand and like ever gen its hard to get a system for the first like 3-4 months any way.

2. More people gaming because of things being shut down and being stuck at home. I know things are like opening up but not everything is open still and of course it was worse back in like November, December jan etc than now.

3. semiconductor shortage because of covid. For first few months of the system being out and also leading up to it with like factories being closed or having less people to work because of covid the pace that things can be made is slower and is still trying to play catch up to meet the demand.

I saw something interesting about how if you compare ps4 sales at this point to ps5 sales that the ps4 is ahead by about 108000. I would say that's pretty good because of the shortage. I thing ps5 will pass ps4 in sales once things get back to more normal and by end of its life I think ps5 will out sale ps4 told sales.

Yeah that's blowing up as if it could he a secret Kojima project or something. I think it's just a small 6+ year old foreign company.

Any info you have on Blue Box Studios? I can't find anything on them. Maybe one of the reasons the rumors are rampant. Only thing I saw they did was an android game called The Whisperer: A Paranormal Investigation not even 2-years ago. Their website isn't even up....https://www.blueboxgamestudios.com/

Their website has a 6 year history, largely static though and rather impersonal (no information about the company, leadership, the solicitation for investors gated behind an application/request process, etc)

I think they're just a small studio and people are chasing red herrings. Neat if it turns out to be more, but them being a small foreign company and their website not being a big priority over the course of their history appears to have left them with a microscopic online footprint. It's been mentioned in other forums if games can possibly be <b>created in Dreams</b>, for future resales. Well, such a game exists and is coming to the PS5 by RareBird Games and it looks either absurdly fun or ridiculously stupid. LOL

Seinfeld horror game created in PS4’s Dreams, Sinfeld Chronicles, is coming to PS5 with a new name: Sinfeld Remastered.

The game, originally created in Dreams, allowed players to walk through familiar Seinfeld territory. Jerry’s apartment was fully explorable, as was Kramer’s alongside several other locations, but the new Sinfeld Remastered has considerably increased the game’s content.

Wasn't really on my radar but Deathloop is delayed. The end of the year is looking crowded assuming more games don't get pushed.

PS5 wrap finally came in (after waiting over a month). Think I need to use a heat gun at the top where I now see a line between the two wrap peices, but overall happy with it.
